Kingsbury runs the Air Raid offense. Almost all the teams in the Big 12 (plus Texas A&M and Cal) run that offense or some variation of it.I know thats his alma mater but Kingsbury might need to be looking for the exit. If he could take his offense to a Miami or USF
So you can take your pick of Big 12 offensive coordinators, if you want that offense.
The rumor on the Texas Messageboards is that Texas & Charlie Strong are going to hire 1 of TCU's co-offensive coordinators this upcoming offseason.

Thats the problem, everybody runs it. He needs to go to a conference/school where the opponents aren't familiar with defending that

Freshman RB Kirk Johnson looked good too with the few carries he got in the 1st quarter.
It really makes the coaching staff look bad that flabbynsick Johnathan Gray got most of the carries this season when we had 3 good young RBs in Foreman, Warren, & Johnson who should've got the carries instead.
The folks on IT are saying he needs to hire a OC & get a JUCO QB as soon as the season ends.
With a proper OC I think Heard can make the necessary leap. Kid is still young and IMO has looked better than RS Vince. Charlie has to hit on his OC hire though.
Charlie still needs to sign JUCO QB Jerrod Evans regardless.
they won't go after a JUCO because they are worried about losing Buchelle(they think will start next year since he's going through spring practice). Going to be another Charlie mistake. I hope I'm wrong.
Buechule isn't going to start next year and we can't keep starting over with freshman QBs. They are going to have to coach Heard up. An OC that can come up with simple passing reads, and can get Heard to trust his arm will get the job done.
