@Numpsay how will you feel if we miss out on Uche, LJ, and Bear? :patrice:

I don't think the first 2 will hurt as much. We have Bijan for 2 more years and plenty of talent in '22 at RB. Pretty much the same at OL, I think we'll recruit better talent in '22 anyway. I really want Bear, but word is GA already dropped a bag.

@Numpsay big thread on rivals main board that Herman was having an affair with UT donor/jeweler Kendra Scott. I wonder if that’s what the wife’s blowup was about. Herman seems like a low character guy.

Rivals is late as fukk on that one. Been known around Austin. I guess all his transgressions will start coming out now.

I'll be disappointed if they don't close on LJ. Felt like he's been looking for a reason to commit to us for the longest. With us keeping Drayton on board, I kinda expected him to sign with us, but the news today makes it sound like he's going to A&M. I think he would have been a great complementary back to Bijan. The bigger need is Uche, long arms, can play tackle....most of the stud olinemen next year are guards. As for Bear, Texas needs to play the game. We all know what it means when a kid out of the blue picks a team like GA.

We haven't gotten the infrastructure in place yet to play the game. Other schools, especially A&M are trying to lock kids in before we can jump in the game. All in all I honestly wouldn't fret about this class much. None of the unsign guys will make or break this class. We have plenty of young talent and the '22 class should be top 10 with plenty of offensive talent in it.

It was going to be Baylor and Gonzaga before the pandemic and it is looking like that is going to be the game this spring. Those were the two best teams last year and this year.

Crazy how Texas conceded Men’s and Women’s basketball and track to Baylor over the last decade. Same thing with Texas Tech and baseball and track. Our athletic department used to dominate them in every major sport when I was on campus. :smh:

Bad coaching hires. I think CDC is doing a better job hiring coaches though.
