JQJ would be a great fit for Herman's offense. Not so much for the air raid. But JQJ can move to WR, LB or Safety depending on how he fills out so he'll end up making an impact somewhere.

I think I got NS still in the rematch. Their QB is unstoppable.
But idk why Ian says "Jalen Hurts withstanding" as if he's some unicorn that can't be replicated. JQJ's player comp is Jalen Hurts except JQJ has more athleticism and more arm talent. I'm not with all this changing positions discussion around JQJ b/c there's no guarantee he'll be a good linebacker or safety. We've never seen him in those roles. No, these coaches need to earn their paychecks for once and actually develop this kid like Bama did with Hurts. I'm getting sick of these Texas coaches constantly moving black QBs to differ positions. Lazy coaching and development....
To be fair the same discussions are being had regarding Hudson Card. Honestly the majority of people want to see JQJ take the reins at QB and Hudson Card be moved to receiver. All I know is the QB room will be a competitive one once Sam graduates and moves on. Casey, Roschon, JQJ, Card, Milroe.
Rematch isn’t going to be the same now. North Shore will probably dominate.

The fact that we don't have an OC or DC with early signing day approaching is another failure on Hermans fault. Tell me how this isn't Charlie Strong again. If we end up with Lashlee/Ash Herman is basically out the door. Ash was already an analyst and the defense don't care for him. Lashley is just uninspiring.

Chris Ash was a defensive analyst for us this year. He has had interactions with the team, they already see him as another Herman.

I will repeat, this is why you get it right the first time. Beck should have never been considered the OC here in the first place nevermind hired and this isn’t conference USA, or whatever conference Houston is in. Should have left Orlando there and not try to duplicate Ohio State at Texas.

Herman just got Malik Jefferson’d. Tbh, he should have made changes until after the bowl if he was going to hire position coordinators this slow.
TCU didn't even make a bowl game. We should not be losing recruits to that school. Herman really thought he could not have a coaching staff in place by early signing day and it not affect the recruiting class. This dude arrogance and lack of awareness is beyond comprehension. QJ is horn with an OC and WR coach already hired smh.
Don't blame him. No OC wants to come when this could be Herman's last year if they disappoint again.
This has turned into a real clown show, and what sucks even more is we all know this is a dog and poney show. Herman is going to hire an OC that will run his offense, and a DC that he is comfortable with.
