Beck isn't calling the games. He's just developing the QBs. Herman has called every game this season.

Both of those players should have been Longhorns. I remember their recruitments like it was yesterday. Both were ignored by Strong's staff. Especially Murray, he was begging to be a Longhorn.Yeah, I don't know about that @macpat. We don't have a WR as good as CeeDee Lamb & we don't have a defensive player as good as Kenneth Murray.

No way are we better than OU. This team can't consistently run block, can't tackle, linebackers move in mud, outside WRs can't get open consistently, no tight end, QB looks slower than last year, starting running back looks lost, no return game, no pressure on QBs.....this team has a least one more loss on the schedule, probably two. Just hoping recruiting holds up. I can see a few of our guys switching over to OU. The style of defense they played yesterday should be attractive to every recruit.
@satam55 @dtownreppin214 We played possibly the worst gamee we've played all year and loss by 7. That's with Sam getting sacked 9 times and playing possibley his worst game in 2 years. OL having their worst game of the year, and we also had a rag tag group playing in the secondary. Our starting RB hurt, and Tom Herman channeling his inner Greg Davis.
Y'all are overreacting. We beat a better OU team last year. Y'all can suck their dikks if you want but we win the rematch in the Big 12 championship game IMO. Nothing about that game told me we were outclassed by them. fukk OU.

I agree that OU offenses from the last couple a seasons or so were better, but on Defense this the best OU defense in a while.

Have you watched OU this year before the RRR? That defense isn't that good, they were better prepared yesterday, and they got up for this game and we didn't, and even with that we scored 24 points in the second half on that defense. So I don't really see that defense as being any better than usual.

I think they are sharing play calling responsibilities. Beck is supposed to be responsible for game prep though. He utterly failed this week.

Orlando is doing to much on defense. With all the injuries we should be more basic on defense. And he needs to learn how to mix in some 4 man fronts.
The score wasn't indicative of how badly we were outplayed. How the hell did you watch that game and not be impressed by OU? We were definitely outclassed and probably deserved to lose by 2-3 TDs.
We win that game if Ceedee Lamb is wearing burnt orange like he wanted to, he really was the difference in the game. As bad as we played, OU was not able to blow us out like they should have, that should tell you a lot about Hurts and OU in general. Hurts couldn't really do shyt if Lamb wasn't open and he couldn't resort to using his legs. Not really sure what I was supposed to be impressed by, it was clear in the first half they knew our signals, we changed up at half time. As bad as our defense was they forced a couple of turnovers and didn't break in the first half and kept us in the game. I'm really not sure what was so impressive. Their offense was better last year. Defense only really looked good for a half and I stated why above.

Bruh this is the same exact mistake that got Vance Bedford/Strong into trouble back in 2016. We ran a different defense every game that season (until Strong finally demoted Bedford, took over as DC & simplified the defense) despite the fact we had too many young players on defense to be doing that.
That game would have been a blowout without Hurts turnovers in the redzone.
Outside of Lamb going off, they also had 9 sacks, they limited us to 2.8 ypc, none of our receivers caught a TD, none of our receivers cracked 100 yds, Duvernay was neutralized, they also had 7.3 ypc on offense. How could you not be impressed with their defense? I watched two of their games before yesterday, that was not a fluke performance. Their D has been swarming to the ball all season.
