What's so special about him? I'm more interested in flipping the slot WR from Rockwall that's committed to tOSU.

I'd prefer him too. Idk what's so special about Omeire other than his size. I don't like some of Mehringer's takes the last few years. Texas stays letting speedsters go to TCU/OU/Baylor/Okie State. Those schools have made a living off us not recruiting the right recruits at the WR position.

Man going back to page 223-225, what a recruiting turnaround Herman has had at Texas and if he keeps these recruits, it will be another top 5 class and the 2021 class could be one of the best that rivals the early 2000s classes.

Troy reached out to Texas. I'm surprised this happened so fast. This might have just been for the optics of the situation.


I thought they'd make him wait until after we saw how JSN, bunkley-shelton, and fouonji was going to shake out. All of them are better prospects than Troy IMO, but apparently he is balling out so far this year and they think they can turn him into the next LJH. JSN flirted a bit but I think he is back solid to TOSU. I think we'll get the other 2 if we want them.

Our secondary was already less than stellar but shyt is about to be dire. Thompson is likely done for the year. Green likely won't be back for OU, Sterns either. Foster and Overshown might be beck. Adimora needs to grow up fast. Owens too. I haven't noticed Watson on the field but we may need to get him some reps pronto I have no faith in Cook, Boyce, or Jamison.

Secondary isn't that far off. Some of our best DBs struggled as freshman and sophomores . Gotta remember these guys are young without a ton of experience, Jones is the only seasoned guy out there. And while we have a good WR core none of them are as explosive as some of the WRs they face from game to game so that takes some adjusting. Also Orlando is going with his best 6 even if they are playing out of position.

David Beatty's lawsuit/legal battle with KU is keeping him from officially joining the UT staff. I believe Beatty has already moved his family to Austin though.

What is the issue tho?

From what I've read on 247, Shaggy, & etc., KU doesn't want to pay the money they owe David Beatty. So much so, that KU invited the NCAA to launch an investigation against their own athletic department just so they can find any dirt they can use against Beatty to justify not paying him the money they owe him.

KU gotta take this L. I doubt that's a big enough violation from the Football program to get out of paying Beatty and the BB program is now gonna get some major sanctions.

I don't really care about the Beatty thing unless he is eventually going to take Mehringer, Warhime or Draytons job. Defensive side of the ball needs more coaches and support staff.

He was overrated a year ago. He is really raw as a passer and more of a project than anything. May end up at WR eventually.

Preston Stone('21) and Haynes King('20) are two overrated prospects as well. I expect both to fall in the ranking accordingly.
