:wow: @dtownreppin214 My black QB agenda is so happy we went with Milroe over Preston Stone.

Curious to see if he improves as a passer :jbhmm:

Didn't watch the game last night. Was Roschon playing RB or QB yesterday?
The way people been talking up Jalen Milore, even before he commuted to Texas, I'm expecting him to have a big year.

Roschon was the 3rd RB last night. Jordan Whittington, our #2 RB, left the game early with a nagging groin injury. So Roschon got a lot of carries last night.

Not too worried about a 2022 kid.
This. I usually don't for a particular recruiting class until their Junior Days.

Whittington out 4-6 weeks with a sports hernia. Going to miss his play making ability but I honestly think he should just redshirt. I had a sports hernia before when I used to play football and I could probably play a half a game before it flared up again, then it would heal during the week, rinse/repeat. I had to not play football for an entire year before it went away for good. This is going to be his second surgery on it and apparently he is going to the top guy in Philly. Just hope its not something that remains an issue throughout his career.

This injury could torpedo our season. We have one healthy back. I fukking knew it at the time that not closing on Noah Cain would come back to bite us. Our running back coach has been trash man.....

Just gotta hope KI doesn't get dinged up which unfortunately he has a history in doing so. Couldn't predict what was going to happen to Derrian Brown either. Young suffering an injury after both KI and Whittington were dinged up was just poor roster management by Herman and Co. RBs should have been no contact at that point. WR is probably our deepest room except maybe at safety. They must really love Jake Smith at WR to not move him to RB.

If Moore wasn't suspended they probably would move Smith.

My issues with running back recruiting goes back to 2018. I was telling those idiots on shaggy that we should have took two backs that year. Craig Williams would have been my second take. By then Young was looking jagish and we were hearing whispers of behavior problems with Toniel. Miss on Dobbins, miss on Eno....Drayton has been a mess.

I agree. He is too valuable to lose. Roschon is capable of handling the backup spot.

Man the evolution of Zach Evans has been one to watch. In the beginning he was a nice, humble, kid. All about his teammates, and his recruitment was supposed to be on the up and up with his older brother leading the way. Fast forward to today, and its the complete opposite. Dude is a straight prima donna, dogs it in practice, apparently got into it with a coach and is suspended indefinitely, froze his brother out of his recruitment, and looks to be going to the highest bidder. Even a bama coach told him he was to immature to start at bama. Dude is gonna end up at Georgia or A&M imo. At this time he is a hard pass at UT even if he wanted to come here. Not a culture fit

I just saw the news as well. I don’t know if Bijan is better than Zach but I’m perfectly ok with him over Zach.

Sucks to see that b/c I think his brother was leaning Texas at the beginning. I was hoping things would cool down a bit and UT would get back into it in December. He's a big talent, but I don't think he's the once in a generation type of back people were describing him as a year ago.

I'll say this tho about Bijan, I don't get comfortable about any OOS recruits until they sign on the dotted line. If USC tanks and hires Meyer in November he will go after Bijan. USC was his childhood favorite & Meyer hates Herman so this scenario worries me.

I was following his recruitment closely and he always seemed like he let the outside noise give him the big head. He spurned UT several times on visits. His coach had to make him go on a visit so they didn't burn any bridges. I rather have a kid like Bijon who is humble and all about football than Evans tbh.

Good news is we can survive this loss and still make the playoffs if we win out and as a result win the Big 12. Bad news is this defense needs to be fixed. Jones and Sterns need to start making more of an impact out there.
