The scheme is excellent. The playcalling has definitely cost us games this year though.
If LSU had Gilbert at OC and UT had Arande at DC, neither team would be talking about new coaches right now. That's why i dont get too caught up in the coaching carousel talk. Firing and bringing in a new coach isn't always the solution to your problem. In fact if Strong gets let go, we should go after Gilbert to help overhaul our offensive package.
Didn't know about all this. Thought dude was a wiz with the Xs and Os. I take back what I said about not minding him at LSU's OCNo it just that Gilbert has been outstandingly basic at Texas. He hasn't used even half the shyt I've seen him use at other stops or at Baylor. Texas is also very young so that may be it
