Why would beating an average at best tcu team determine his fate?

My guess is they already now by know wheter there gonna keep or fire him

It's not about beating TCU. It's about his win total. They can justify to fanbase/boosters 7-5, and pointing out he lost 3 close tough games. Especially since they were against 2 top 10 teams (WVU & Oklahoma) They won't be able to sell 6-6. I know it's only one more win. But 7-5 looks much better in others eyes. Plus the defense has played much better since Strong taking over. Herman's no slam dunk. As he's been exposed to some degree.

I was all in on the Herman hire at the beginning of the year, now I feel like its gonna backfire. I'd also like to see Year 2 of this offense, and not have these guys have to learn an entire new system again.

I think it will show he can go toe to toe with a coach that's practically made him his bytch since he's been at Texas. Outscored 98-17 in two games by TCU. Also, TCU has played better as of late after the slow start losing lots of players from last year. If he wins that game, they'll be 7-5 and I think he's back regardless. Or at least it will be hard to let him go. If he falls to 6-6, buh bye. But I do not believe a decision has been made regarding the coaching at all right now.

No way. I'm not believing Strong gets fired if he wins the final two games. Especially after Herman most likely is going to see Louisville drop 60 or 70 on his squad. If Charlie wins out, the only way he possibly gets fired is if Herman beats Louisville (which I don't believe has a chance in hell of happening)
Ironic that Louisville could hold Charlie's fate. :francis:

Ketch is saying Strong is out the Saturday after the TCU game and Herman will be announced sometime the first week of Dec.
Naw, I don't believe Ketch. He's had an agenda all year. It's obvious Strong is affecting OB's subscriber numbers the way Ketch has been acting.
He actually admitted this a few weeks ago. Pissed a lot of subscribers off. I also think they're upset about the lack of access to practices. Alex Dunlap is always bytching about that.

Yeah that bytch-made cac Alex Dunlap (Nobody from the other competing UT paysites & the rest of the UT media likes him) is literally complaining that he doesn't get to cover stretching & warm-ups during practice.

...so did this ketchup dude disclose a source, or is he making news based off white wishes?

better question, if he's wrong, will he disappear and just become an A&M fan?

You know it's bullshyt. OB was the same site after the OSU game that reported Coach Strong would be gone after the season.
