i said if you don't like what combat jack said then debate him...all tupac stans said "we don't need to prove points. All my points are proved cuz homes just said a lot of bullshyt" :russ: seriously shyt is not even made up then they go on to say "The only pac album that MAY not be a classic is strictly. Foh!!!!!"...:mjlol: as much as nikkas love pac they will never admit a lot of of songs from his albums (while alive) were trash...
What's to debate? Thinking Pac is overrated is his opinion but his points are flawed. And I critiqued his shytty ass article without a sweat. '

“I’m Shock G, the one who put the satin on your panties.” But cool, I’ll give Pac the credit."

"Shock G recalls how the track was written, in the book How to Rap, mentioning that 2Pac wrote the lyrics to the beat after hearing it for a while (rather than with no beat), and that 2Pac also ghostwrote Shock G's verse"

Damn right Pac gets that credit :mjlol:

This is kinda how I felt about Pac since I was in 7th grade, which is when Pac died. When Big died it hurt me cause I always took a lot of pride in the fact that one of the the most popular rappers at the time was from Brooklyn AND not too far from where I lived.

So when BIG died it was like damn...that shyt hurt. When Pac died? I was like :yeshrug:

Why? Cause to me it was always like yo...Pac is wildin. He was always wildin. He just seemed like a really bugged out cat. Granted he had his reasons. I'll give him that. But Pac...espcially Death Row Pac? Dude just seemed to be madd extra with it.

Now all of the shyt that Combat Jack is saying about the albums...that's absurd. Because I remember seeing the video for "Brendas got a Baby" on Video Music Box as a kid...in like 1st or 2nd grade one day and that shyt had me like WOW. As a kid. So no...the critique of the albums? That's silly.

But the levels to which dudes place Pac on a pedestal always leaves me like...what? I don't put Big on that level. Hell I don't put any rapper on that level.

My father knew I loved rap and he bought me the album...in 1992. Just like he bought me any other rapper's album when I was young. What's your point?

my point is your father buying you these garbage ass albums means he dont even love you...im sure your pops bought the albums listen to them and realized how shyt it was so he passed it to the booga of the family...

Naw my father loved me and raised me to be the man I am today. If you think those albums are garbage then that's your prerogative.

I can see why he felt that way. He's said on his show that back during a certain time period, he was strictly an East Coast dude so I can't be mad at him for not messing with Pac like that. And while I like Pac's first two albums, Jack isn't the first one to talk about the beats being meh status on them and that there are only a couple good joints scattered throughout. I disagree with him about Me Against the World completely but I understand where he is coming from. If he didn't like Pac, oh well, he didn't like Pac.

Syke killed his appearances on AEOM

So did Richie Rich, Rappin 4 Tay, Boss Hogg, Snoop, Nate, Dogg Pound etc

I always thought the Outlaws were dope and I never took offence to or hated the idea of them being on the songs because if u were following PAC at the time, the trajectory of his music and lifestyle, etc those were his soldiers, and they consistently came through

Especially on Makaveli, I always got a Jesus and His Disciples vibe from Makaveli, so I always understood why the Outlaws were there and what purpose they served
