i said if you don't like what combat jack said then debate him...all tupac stans said "we don't need to prove points. All my points are proved cuz homes just said a lot of bullshyt" :russ: seriously shyt is not even made up then they go on to say "The only pac album that MAY not be a classic is strictly. Foh!!!!!"...:mjlol: as much as nikkas love pac they will never admit a lot of of songs from his albums (while alive) were trash...

Bruh it's his opinion but his points are flawed as fukk and it comes off as a bias hate message. Not to mention that it looks like a 5th grade nikka wrote this shyt.

"Brenda’s Got A Baby....That song was weak by any hip hop classic standard"
If Rakim, Nas, Krs, Biggie, Kool G Rap, etc made that song then it would be a classic in his "hip hop standard"

"Still, I saw that as being a Digital Underground song featuring 2Pac as their up and coming weed carrier. "

First off Shock G and Money B had average bars that were ghost written by 2pac. Pac had better and longer verses so I don't know how that is considered as a weed carrier status and not shock and money-b.

“I’m Shock G, the one who put the satin on your panties.” But cool, I’ll give Pac the credit."

@CombatJack dumbass doesn't realise that Pac GHOST wrritten it so Pac does get the credit for that "classic line", but he used that to sneak diss Pac (not surprised it's an east-coast way of handling things).

"Think about it, if Tupac was such an incredible rap artist and“Juice” was considered to be his movie, why was it that none of his songs made the album? "

What does that have to do with anything? Well it doesn't, it's more sneak dissing.

"The only other song on Me Against The World worthy of a playback is Old Schoolwhat with its tight production and Pac rapping like he’s brand new."

I wonder why old school is his favourite song :mjpls:. And if he's talking about production DM and OS are not even the best songs on MATW.

"Even Got My Mind Made Up featuring Method Man and Red Man sounded forced, like if Meth and Red flew their verses in via email."

:snoop:
This idiot is publishing an article without doing simple research “We never got to work with him,” Redman said. “That was for Tha Dogg Pound and company, which is true. We did. We did that for [Tha] Dogg Pound. Yeah, when he came home he just needed material. So, he took songs that was already done to get his album done. And he just went in and did his verse on his own.”

Nothing sounds "forced".

@Big Skilly Films the critique of his lame ass article isn't really directed to you I'm just lazy in separating the response. :pachaha:

Look man...

I don't agree, but there are people who don't worship the work of the almighty 2Pac... it's not always about hurt feelings or bias. It could just be a matter of personal taste. I do recall Jack recently saying that he has really gotten more in tune with Pac's music over time tho', and really respected how he keep it extra funky on the Makaveli album.

That bein' said, them first two albums can kick rocks. If some of y'all Pac lovers take off the "but it's Pac" shades, y'all would see that. That joint was way behind the curve for '91/'92 and was rightfully overlooked when it dropped. Strictly was a lil' better, it's Pac making his transition into the Pac everybody loves- its like a mix of the Pac who was still finding his voice and the Pac that arrived and became a legit star in '93.

Now after that? Pac was firing on all cylinders, and was only getting better. I def. feel those last three albums were classics, but I can also understand if someone doesn't agree. Some of y'all nikkas act like it's law to love all his shyt.

if nikkas look past the production of his first 2 albums then you would realize how good those albums are.

Man fukk that. Is it a good album or not? Nobody else gets passes for their albums if the beats are lacking. That's half of the album right there. I can deal with the production... I'm familiar with the sound of that era, rap didn't start for me in '93. And sure, Pac was a capable MC at the time, not a great one. There's nothing he was doing at that time that you couldn't have gotten better from someone else. He had flashes of genius in some of that shyt but a flash is just a flash. He really got it together from post-Strictly to when he passed... those are the years he was PAC at his best. Before that, he was aiiite and made mostly aiiiite shyt.

And......I don't necessarily disagree with you. My father (rip) bought me 2pacalypse Now as a surprise (he knew I loved Ice Cube and he thought I would've liked Pac) and I loved it. Production doesn't fade me and the message and style is the OG Pac. Are his first two albums classics? No, and they're from from it. He got better off each release.
