Despite my distaste for how they try to freeze Crawford out, I'm looking forward to this fight, not sleeping on Ugas, we'll see what his tight defense and good jab gonna be enough against Spence. My guess is Spence is winning a decision by being more active with Ugas winning some rounds too. 116-112 Spence or that sort of result

Give me a break lmao, he does the “heavy lifting” because he’s in a privileged position, being the darling of PBC who these dudes are signed to and tried, to an extent still try to freeze Crawford out. If the positions would be switched Crawford would have fought these same dudes. Throwing sneak disses at Bud won’t help, we saw what happened when Bud finally meet one of the guys that was suppose to be his test of legitimacy in the eyes of the PBC stan set. He stopped him and Spence walked out the arena in a min looking mad.
We'll see..Mean machine and washed Kell Brook ain't exactly Ugas and former division kingpin Thurman.

He walked out because that nygga quit after rocking some Hagler robes..a guy who would never quit.

DAMN! March is going PAAACCKKKEDDD with good shyt, I kinda hope the fight happens in April to spread some of the goodness around
I dont. More the fight is delayed the longer we will have to wait for Crawford. Get it out of the way in March and have the Crawford fight in September or October.

:rudy: The fight is happening. That's for certain. Theres zero reason why it wouldn't, barring some type of injury.

When both fighters want a fight to happen, it will happen.

he walked out frustrated cause he went there hoping Porter would win and he’d have an easier path to snatch that belt up
No. If you watch Derrick James interview a week or so after the incident he explains that Errol was instructed by his handlers to leave before the post fight interview. His handlers did not want him to be part of the show and for them to try to gain leverage by calling him out with him in attendance.

Like I've said before, these 2 are playing games with each other, mainly over money and pride. The fight will happen but Errol has shown that he has no problem dragging it out as long as it takes, in order for him to get the split he desires. All of the bullshyt going on is calculated.

I hear you, they ended up showing him on camera regardless and him leaving just made him look bad
Not sure what leverage has to do with it since Bud will almost certainly not be with TR when/if the fight is made. PBC has the opportunity to make everyone satisfied in the situation if they get Bud to come over there with the right money and ironing out splits will be way easier if that happens

It's bullshyt man. Crawford has been the fight to make for Errol since 2018, when Crawford became a welterweight champion.

At no point were fights with Mikey Garcia, Shawn Porter or Danny Garcia ever more highly demanded by the general public over the Crawford fight. Yet people gave Errol a pass because Crawford was with Top Rank, and with the belief that PBC would finally come to the table once Errol 'cleaned up his side of the street.'

But what about now?

After the car accident, after the pandemic, after missing out on the Pacquiao fight, and after the PBC plan for Errol's career has completely backfired: why can't we just get the fight we've all demanded?

Errol has circumvented the single fight we all wanted to see, and all he has to show for it are diminished wins and wasted years.

Mikey Garcia: diminished win.

Shawn Porter: beat by Brook, Thurman, and knocked out by your divisional rival.

Danny Garcia: Beat by Porter and Thurman.

Outright dismisses fighting Thurman, who was always the most talented and accomplished in his generation of PBC welters.

Misses out on the Pacquiao fight due to injury.

Now he forgoes the Crawford fight again for Ugas.

It's lunacy that the delaying of the Crawford fight isn't criticized as harshly as the Joshua Wilder gaffe.

This isn't even an attempt to make Errol seem scary either. I don't think Spence is scared of Crawford, but he was and continues to be complicit in the avoidance of the fight.
Now do this for Crawford’s competition. And then explain to me what efforts Crawford made to make the fight happen.

From what I understand:

Spence has held firm on his insistence to clean up his "side of the street."

Meaning he wasn't even going to show up to the negotiations table until he beat the PBC welters.

With that understanding, I sincerely doubt that I'll ever agree with anyone that wants me to believe that Errol hasn't deliberately avoided Terence Crawford, in spite of the fact that Crawford is one of the more highly touted, accomplished, and active fighters in the welterweight division.

Furthermore, Crawford publicly criticized his former promoter for not being able to secure the Spence fight. We have seen footage of Crawford challenging Spence in person, and now we know for certain that he was asking for the Spence fight to be made behind the scenes. The opposite can be said for Spence, who has a record of tweets, interviews, press conferences and etcetera where he has gone on the record to explain why he refuses to fight Crawford.

I suppose if I use terms like duck or avoid, then people might misconstrue my intentions and think I'm calling Spence scared, which is not the truth.

He made a financial decision, and it has resulted in the top two welterweights not fighting for years now.

I'm a fan of Errol, too. I was in the building for Spence Porter, and while I remember the voracious cheers when Spence was awarded the decision, I also remember the collective displeasure when Danny Twelve Toes was ushered into the ring. Wasn't anyone asking for that shyt, everyone wanted to see Spence Crawford. Only after Spence was in a life threatening car accident was that fight even seen as passable.

Lastly, I think it's pretty clear that if the inverse scenario was true -- Crawford had a bevy of Top Rank welters to fight, and Spence was consistently passed over -- then many of the same posters in here would be shytting on Bob and Crawford for ducking Errol and hurting the sport.

Those are my thoughts.

Notice how you can’t find a single instance of Crawford trying to make the fight? Yet he’s been a free agent twice and both times chose to move in the opposite direction (re-signing with Top Rank and now with MTK). We don’t need to infer from a suggestion. Those are facts. He has made no effort to make the fight either.
