man Ugas beat Porter azz, fxck what they talkin bout. Robbery.

He should have been had the WBC belt.

Ugas coming off his 5th straight win (should have been his 12th shraight), Spence coming off of a 2 year layoff and eye surgery... i feel like this could get saucy

Done deal
Errol Spence Jr. will take his undefeated record into a fight against Yordenis Ugas for the unified welterweight title on April 16 at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, he said on Tuesday.
Spence, the WBC and IBF welterweight champion, has not fought since beating Danny Garcia by unanimous decision on Dec. 5, 2020. He was supposed to face Manny Pacquiao last August but withdrew after suffering a retinal tear in his left eye.
Ugas replaced Spence and defeated Pacquiao by unanimous decision, retaining his WBA welterweight title.
Spence, who turns 32 on March 3, is 27-0 all time with 21 knockouts. Ugas is 27-4 with 12 knockouts. He has won his last four fights since losing to Shawn Porter in March 2019

Because I want to see the Crawford fight, me and all my homies been talking bout who is better for years.
You do realize this'll line them up for undisputed assuming EJ wins, right? :dwillhuh: That kinda precedent is worth the wait. The BS will come in if they seriously let politics/ego get in the way. If that happens... God damn :francis: I might need a good sabbatical away from boxing. People better protest in DROVES.

your stars are but dust on my shoes
If Spence beats Ugas, he'll immediately try to make the Crawford fight.

I think Thurman gets priority over Crawford, plus Stanionis already had to step aside to allow this unification to happen. Crawford Spence is a big fight, but the fight has been put off for so long that I'm losing faith it gets made.
