I think Thurman gets priority over Crawford, plus Stanionis already had to step aside to allow this unification to happen. Crawford Spence is a big fight, but the fight has been put off for so long that I'm losing faith it gets made.
Spence isnt going for no damn Thurman..lol. He'll definitely go after Crawford before leaving Welterweight this year.

It's not about faith..Spence was in a car accident that kept him out a year..and then a odd eye injury last August. That messes up a easy time-frame he planned out in 2019.

When this was first announced, I said to myself Spence got this. More I think about it though, Ugas is gonna present some problems. I know Spence is all about that bodywork, but Ugas is with that too.

:ohhh: how'd you know he was going to get whooped like that with so much confidence?

Check out what I said in the fight thread. Ugas is tailor made for Spence. shyt wasn't even hard to call, I know I'm a Spence fan but it was obvious what was gonna happen. Ugas is a good boxer and is fundamentally solid and has a good skillset, but he is imobile and not very active. Spence likes to press the pace and press the action. If you can keep up with his workrate, and come forward against him(going backwards against Spence has never worked he will cut you off, corner you and beat you up he has done it to everyone who tried), you will give him trouble. Even being a boxer isn't a huge advantage against Spence because he is a good fundamentally sound boxer himself.

Funny enough seeing more of Spence there isn't a welterweight left who has the style to beat him the only one who did is retired. We'll see how Spence fares against Brian Castano when he moves up though, that will be interesting.
