So you'd rather have them put out shytty movies because they DON'T wanna listen to the public?Johns and reboots are not Band-Aids. The real problem is WB has been nothing but reactionary re: their DC films since Man of Steel. They could reboot a thousand times and put every major comic personality or film producer in charge. Ain't gonna mean shyt if the powers that be shift their plans every six months or every time audiences complain.
They're pushing Jon Berg out and making Johns an advisor when the first film completely under their regime, "Aquaman," hasn't even had a teaser trailer yet. There is something wrong with WB brass concerning their films. That has to change first.
Also, stop suggesting Bruce Timm. He doesn't want to do the live action stuff.
This suggestion makes so much sense it ain't funny. Throw Paul Dini in there to contribute to writing or tweaking the scripts as well; fukk Goyer...Just put Johns in charge. Or, the ultimate PR move and just great idea (as far as I know) would be to hire Bruce Timm and let him be their Feige and work with Johns. You get the fanboys to get on your side, you get great PR, and you get evangelists on your side.

I mean goddamn, their whole body of work on DC animation in a treasure trove of source material done well.
If only Dwayne (DA GAWD) McDuffie were still alive to help get the DCEU on track with Marvel's success.
RIP
That's' true but I just have that feeling that WB are just too dense to have thought of them.Dini would be great but again we assume these people A) want the job and 2) haven’t been asked or thirdly, are in the position to take the job if asked.
There’s a lot of shyt we don’t know when it comes to this type of stuff. But he’s also on twitter so someone here who really cares should holla at him and see if he gives an answer

I can't' speak for Timm because who knows? He might be content with just doing certain cartoon projects; those arent as demanding to stay on top of.
If Dini was offered? Imo, he' be happy to take a position.
Just my speculation.
you pouring salt on my Dream Team, fam. You make a good suggestion so let me fly with that.Like I said someone can always ask and see what he says.
Dini is still working so maybe he doesn’t have time or prefers animation as well. No clue. He only comments on Harley stuff now
They listened to the public on Justice League and got their least successful movie. So you'd rather have them put out shytty movies because they DON'T wanna listen to the public?
I’m still convinced the tonal shift in Suicide Squad’s development was a direct reaction to Guardians of the Galaxy and how well it was received. They listened to the public on Justice League and got their least successful movie.
The point is that there is something fundamentally flawed about how WB is managing this franchise. They're too reactionary and too prone to shifting plans at the slightest sign of trouble. A reboot doesn't fix that. That only changes from a shift in the mindset of the company and shifting the people working there

And they're responding by interfering in the middle of another movie's production. BvS was too dark, so we're gonna make them change Suicide Squad up even though their initial trailer which was dark got great reactionsThey listened to the public on Justice League and got their least successful movie.

My B. I made it and then quickly saw the other side of it and why it may not be foolproofyou pouring salt on my Dream Team, fam. You make a good suggestion so let me fly with that.
I could see him saying that. There’s freedom in animation and things you can’t get human beings to do.I thought they approached Timm about doing something years ago ... he prefers the animation side because there's things you can do with animation that's to hard to pull off live..
But I do agree ... Paul and Bruce ... and I would love Greg Weismen as well
Yeah, agreed. What did the public say to make JL become so negative? Based on what I heard from a friend, the movie was similar to BVS.They listened to the public on Justice League and got their least successful movie.
