Just put Johns in charge. Or, the ultimate PR move and just great idea (as far as I know) would be to hire Bruce Timm and let him be their Feige and work with Johns. You get the fanboys to get on your side, you get great PR, and you get evangelists on your side.

as long as they put a clause in that prevents him from putting his weird bruce/barbara into it, im down

Bendis and Whedon over there now.

I'm sure they'll fix it :mjlol:

Just keep Geoff in his advisory role and get a respectable producer to quality check everything. Geoff clearly doesn't have time to work on the movies full-time with him still writing the comics and Timm is still producing and directing DC animated films.

Johhns sucks and brought whedon in. Neither of those giys knows anything about running a studio.

And wb is making this worse by getting corporate MORE involved.

That's perfect.

Which is why it won't happen.

Johns and reboots are not Band-Aids. The real problem is WB has been nothing but reactionary re: their DC films since Man of Steel. They could reboot a thousand times and put every major comic personality or film producer in charge. Ain't gonna mean shyt if the powers that be shift their plans every six months or every time audiences complain.

They're pushing Jon Berg out and making Johns an advisor when the first film completely under their regime, "Aquaman," hasn't even had a teaser trailer yet. There is something wrong with WB brass concerning their films. That has to change first.

Also, stop suggesting Bruce Timm. He doesn't want to do the live action stuff.

The brass has too much say so and not enough road map.. no connective tissue within their films or universe building... :francis: the template doesn't need a reboot but a firm restructuring...

Geoff Johns is John Stewart's #1 hater and the bane of the character's existence the past 10-15 years. He can eat a dikk.

Bruce Timm tho. He essentially was their Fiege before Fiege.

Well, really Timm and the late great Dwayne McDuffie who often gets overlooked as part of the two-man team that brought us that DCAU / JLU
Animation and movies are completely different things and the recent DC animated movie he's made have been trash, tbh.

IDK why people want Bruce Film as a movie producer for a Cinematic universe, it's like CW fanboys wanting Greg Berlanti as Kevin Feige even tho he got his chance with Green Lantern.

I just saw this news, Jon Berg is actually a cool guy. I hope nothing but the best to him in his producing deal with the company. But, the blame of the WB films being misses shouldn't be all his to take, the company as whole has a really bad strategy.
