i know and agree it allows for a reboot... i was just trying to say it doesnt matter who Batman is now, who matt reeves want or anything because that story is about Thomas... and yes they could reboot with new actors for every role actually ... but when flashpoint ends... the speculation will begin..

Even when the story is about Thomas, the story is about Bruce. You can’t tell the Flashpoint story without a crystal clear idea of what it will mean for Batman, because he’s indirectly a central character.

If you don’t know who Bruce is going to be, how can you end Flashpoint? And what happens when Doomsday Clock sells a billion copies and they decide they wanna do a DC/Watchmen crossover in the DCU? Who’s gonna star with Ezra Miller in whatever version of The Button some director cooks up?

I feel what you’re saying 100%. I just don’t think it’s as simple as shifting the focus to Thomas Wayne IF you’re gonna try to do Flashpoint. Thomas is an amazing character, but that version is not important to the overall universe, except as a way to push his son’s story, and the other primary DC characters, into new directions.

flashpoint a terrible idea

you know why?

Wonder women there one good, charismatic, kind super hero

is a villian in that story arc

it might piss off what ever good will Patty and Gal got in WW

-- just splinter the universe the way marvel done and dont have the story interact

do you think inhumans or punisher or will affect infinity war ?

Agents of shield blew up the earth on their show :russ:

Aside from SM3, none of those flicks were wack. Plus they probably did well in theaters.

But they might learn from their mistakes and actually try to do something solid.
Not many people hold TASM series in high regard. And TASM2 is far worse than SM3.

And with the final scene and the tear ... we don't even technically need an actor.. just a man in the cowl reading the letter.. the letter drops (or is placed on the table) then the tear drops and fades to black.....

then they can return with the DC/Watchmen crossover with both Thomas and Bruce (now a new actor) in the batcave....
