So becuse
We’re going to be terrible for 2-3 years easily.

He fits our timeline and can play for his next contract while keeping us below 35 wins.
So because you plan on being terrible your plan is to keep making additional terrible moves? That’s the logic for the Wizards rebuild?

“Hey it doesn’t matter what he do we’re going to be terrible anyways!”

Lol shyt if the fans like that shyt hey god bless ‘em :mjlol:

Not be idiotic and blow it… is that too crazy of an ask from a “wizard” front office :mjlol:

But like I asked you tho do YOU think spending 130 million on Jordan Poole is a good use of cap space?
They aren't gonna be good for awhile anyway. He's 24. It's not an awful use. :manny:

It's not like Washington has a history of signing free agents either.

nikkas crazy if they think CP3 starting, or maybe Kerr is crazy.
It's not all about starting, but who's gonna be in the closing lineup... They gonna have Chris Paul not see the court late in games? Cause their roster is gonna look funky

You think a “nucleus” built around Jordan Poole and his 130 million dollar contract is a “good thing” :picard: Did you not watch him at all last year?
Wizards have no one to pay so how much poole makes isn't really relevant currently, they'll move him if need be.

What makes you believe this will happen?
I didn't say it would, it's just what the team is thinking. He may embrace having his own team and flourish, similar to someone like a Zach Lavine. Chances of that are slim but it's something consider.
What is this based on? His own team that drafted him just salary dumped him for a 38 year old …if he continues to regress why the hell would another team “give up something nice” for that?
He wasn't actually on the market, nobody inquired about poole really, this was mostly sudden. I think if you put up a sign that said "Poole For Sale" you'd get better offers than what they got for Beal and KP off of youth and potential alone.
Yeah I guess the name involved is getting people excited.. it Poole has a lot to bounce back from to prove worthy of that money or any prospects of him being nothing close to a franchise cornerstone
I agree, but that's partially why the Wiz did this because this is a calculated risk, if he continues to play like shyt and doesn't progress "who gives a fukk we were losing anyway hoping for a #1 pick" :hubie:

If he plays well and blossoms into an all-star over the next few years "well now we have something to build around." There's no risk involved at all, just reward. And you get a pick.

Buying out CP3 and getting nothing back is just a sunk cost.
