Warriors playing keep away from the Lakers

I imagine Washington would have waived him and Lakers would have signed him for pennies

Are you confusing poole for another player? He barely played 2-3 years ago
Poole was a solid bench player during their title run last year and the year before.

Dude is a 18-20 ppg player as the third or fourth option on that Warriors team. He was obviously frazzled and psychologically bothered this year but Poole is like 24 years old with plenty of upside.

He’s not a guy you build around but he’s a very nice complimentary piece.

You think a “nucleus” built around Jordan Poole and his 130 million dollar contract is a “good thing” :picard: Did you not watch him at all last year?

What makes you believe this will happen?

What is this based on? His own team that drafted him just salary dumped him for a 38 year old …if he continues to regress why the hell would another team “give up something nice” for that?

Yeah I guess the name involved is getting people excited.. it Poole has a lot to bounce back from to prove worthy of that money or any prospects of him being nothing close to a franchise cornerstone
Yo they dumped the worst contract in the league just to trade for the second worst contract in the league less than a week later picking up dreadful draft assets and people wanna spin this as a win :dead:

They're not planning on being good any time soon. What exactly do you expect them to do with said cap space?
Not be idiotic and blow it… is that too crazy of an ask from a “wizard” front office :mjlol:

But like I asked you tho do YOU think spending 130 million on Jordan Poole is a good use of cap space?

Because these are the only moves they're gonna make. They don't have time to make more moves and acquire picks. It's all about what they do now.

I understand these nikkas can't see the forest through the trees. It's like folk don't understand that a new CBA was just signed and doesn't even go into effect yet - when it does there will be contracts that teams simply cannot have on their books. Who will be there to absorb those deals? How much will it cost to get those contracts off your books in terms of draft capital?

This guy Winger's only been on the job for 3 weeks and I think he's given the Wizards more hope than they've had the past decade
