But remember the other sitdown he had with NY people?
"fukk you asking him for, he never had the makings of a varsity athlete "
"Having two bosses isn't all it's cracked up to be "
fukking Tony could have killed him right there

This is interesting. Can you break down how they were able to pull this off? I know Power tried doing the same thing with Ghost in season six, but by that time, it was too late and he was surrounded by far more unlikable characters.
Let's see, part of it was him killing or at least removing his top earners and loyal soldiers over selfish reasons. Without his earners, he was done for...and his world legally or financially would come crashing down:
- Killing Ralphie over a horse and his top earner
- Killing his cousin Tony B. to appease NY but ultimately creating a financial strain between him and NY.
- Not offering Vito protection from Philly thus getting another top earner killed
- Gambling addiction destroys his relationship with Hesh
- His angry tirade against Carlo makes him testify against Tony in the last episode..
In the earlier seasons, Tony would get dufflebags with 300k in it from construction alone, but during his war with Philly Leotardo, he was getting envelopes with a couple bands in there....
Not to mention Meadow was going to be married to Patrick Parisi and AJ grew into a spoiled man-baby, and Carm only cared enough about Tony so she wouldn't end up like Ginny Sack.....
So no, Tony wasn't powerful, otherwise he wouldn't be in such a sad state of affairs in season 6....
