I watched part 1 a few weeks ago. It gets better every time.
Thread might make me watch part 2 over the weekend.

Agreed dude was way too reckless and a checkers player in a chess match. Had he not gotten killed at the toll booth he would've run the family into the ground. Or he would've gotten ousted by either Sal or Clemenza.Fredo got a bad rap. Sonny was easily the biggest fukk up in the family. Him speaking out of turn and loving the drug proposition during the sitdown with the Turk is what caused the assassin attempt on his father and the entire war. Not to mention his temper led to him getting played and gunned and clapped up quick at the toll booth. And to think that he was next in line after the Don
that "I got passed over" & "you're my kid brother" are the two biggest indicators that Fredo couldn't have been kept alive...he'd get jealous and vengeful again and make a move
on top of that they tried to hit Mike at his crib where his wife sleeps and his children play Fredo wasn't family after that off gp
Ousted? He used to punk them too. Almost strangled Clemenza in the house on just a news update. Would of been interesting to see how he acted if Michael came back from Italy.Agreed dude was way too reckless and a checkers player in a chess match. You really think that would stop them from plotting against him ?Ousted? He used to punk them too. Almost strangled Clemenza in the house on just a news update. Would of been interesting to see how he acted if Michael came back from Italy.
Just like 5 year old would say it, if he was standing he would of stomped his footwhen he screamed "I'm not dumb; I'm smaaahht!", that was when he knew it was time to get him up outta there
I feel like Michael gives him one last chance "You really believe that"
and if Fredo was to say "I truly did" Mike would of sparred him, but instead he said it was for personal gain and that was it.... that was the end
I am trying to remember the details of his death in the book. . . What I do remember is that Fredo was not a wailing p*ssy in the book like in the movie. For Anyone that has read the book...are there any details as far as Fredo’s death is concerned that the movie leaves out? Or is it pretty much the same?
pretty much at this moment

The book ended on a positive note. Fredo wasn't killed and the sister eventually came around and forgot about her husband. I actually liked the book, easy to read, it also goes into alot of the other small characters that barely exist in the movie.I am trying to remember the details of his death in the book. . .
