So to answer the threadstarter's question...No. Arcades were not dangerous because they were full of 8 and 9 year olds.

I was the silent assassin in street fighter using blanka. Once some demonic youth decided to smash the buttons as i was playing to keep their friend from losing. I didnt want to fight them because i was outnumbered so i just beat their friend anyway. They got mad and left. I called him over to beat M bison to bury the hatchet but he lost and i looked at him in disgust! People who are demonic usually dont have skill.

I'm an old head so I remember these times like they were yesterday.

You always had that champion that nobody could ever touch no matter what. :rambo:

You always got those no skill cheesing b*stards who would have never won otherwise.

You always had the dude who did all the shyt talking and couldn't back it up.

You always had the dude who would be humble as hell and still kick everyone's ass.

You always had the wack dude who thought he was the shyt just because he beat you a couple of times.

You always had the cat who could never win any game at all. :stop:

I remember whenever we were competing against Japanese kids that shyt was pretty much a wrap cos they would always come through and crush the buildings lol.

The worse ether of all was getting your ass kicked by a girl that you just totally underestimated. :snoop::snoop::sadcam:

This was my crew right here. We didn't have a arcade put we would ditch school get faded and go play Marvel vs Capcom 2. It was at this one launder-mat and eventually we'd roll through mobbed up and everyone would be eating chips and soda from the vending machine. Taking smoke breaks out in front. Goddamn those were some good ass times. I was always the guy that talked shyt but would get whooped everytime.

I remember we had this one dude that was unbeatable to us, then one day I luck out pick the Hulk and Spidey and just smash on this fool. Felt like the champ all day. Ended up getting crushed next fight but still. The asians would always come through and spam with Megaman.

It got real....my dad took me this arcade in the mall. I had my quarters and I was playing MK2 and i put the quarters i had left on the machine while I played. One of those older kids went and snatched my quarters when i was looking but my dad just to happen to be there at that momment. He grabbed buddys arm with the quickness..and gave him that stern look and got the quarters back.
