Terminator 2, The Eraser, and True Lies , he was everywhere (as much as you could be) back then.

Arnold>>>>>>>>>
Understandable. Let us know and we'll put you on but it seems like you already know of the iconic movies Arnold put out.
Appreciate it @Monoblock
How many more years does Dwayne Johnson have to leave a mark on Hollywood before it's too late for him?
He is currently 48 years old and will be 49 in May 2021.
Arnold Schwarzenegger was 48 years old in 1995 and turned 49 in July 1996.
Arnold's 73rd birthday will be on July 30, 2020.
Not when he was on top. Not even close. Quick question how old are you?
Below is the annual Quigley Top Ten MoneyMakers Poll. It's been published (by Quigley) every year since 1932. It makes no argument for taste or quality. It's based purely on how much ticket money an actor generates during a calendar year. If you want to understand how "Hollywood" decisions were/are made, as far as casting choices and power (behind the scenes), check this out... And discuss!
Arnold was Michael Jackson level famous in his prime...he' wasnt just some actor having a hot summer, Arnold Schwarzenegger was an event, that's how big he was.
Appreciate it @Monoblock

Nah I'm not saying he hasn't left his mark bc The Rock definitely has I just think he has yet to make a great/iconic movie or franchise. Arnold has several of those in 2 different decades. Most of Arnold's classics came when he was in his prime. Arnold's legacy is cemented as one of the greatest action stars ever. The Rock can make money but has yet to prove to me that he can make an iconic movie let alone a great one. You can't be the next great action star making PG-13 movies. He plays it too safe in his roles and just more concerned with the box office numbers.
You still trying to judge Arnold on box office numbers like The Rock when making your argument. You admitted that you didn't experience it then (lack of males in your life is what you said) so don't try to doubt what everyone understood and knew back then with these list that only tell half the story. Classic/Iconic movies didn't usually make money at the box office like that anyway but a few did. Cruise was always a good earner in the box office numbers department but no one, hell not even he would say he was close to what Arnold was back then. I don't know what else to tell you or what more you want. And you're proving my point even more stating other actors were making more at the box office Arnold was still the king of action movies. Who is rock competing with? Look up any list of ranking action stars. Arnold will be #1 on 99 out of 100.@Monoblock I was looking back through this thread and you said Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson weren't even close to Arnold when Arnold was on top

1996 was the last year Arnold Schwarzenegger was a top 10 box office star.
1985 was the first year he got on the list.
Please compare Arnold from 1985-1996 and compare his stature to Tom Cruise. For you to say Tom Cruise wasn't even close to Arnold's status is a joke.
