Not this coward tagging me after another HOME win that took ANOTHER legendary STEPH CURRY performance to beat a team missing their best player (and MVP candidate) :bryan: :bryan: :bryan:

Does the shame never end? Giving Draymond Green credit for all of Steph’s work is the story of that bum’s career :bryan:

That article is wild after the league champions didn't lose to the worst team in the league :mjlol:

He sets screens, he plays defense, he even... grabs rebounds!

He's a great role player, role players are important to the team - why has it got to be more or less? No team would recruit him as their star player, or even second star. Nobody would be talking about him if he didn't run his mouth like he was Jordan.

39-37 with the 6 seed. :umad:

Before the change, the Warriors were just 7-9 despite Steph and Wiggins missing just 1 game each. And their weak-ass bench had just blown yet another lead, this time against the worst team in the NBA.

After the change, the Warriors lost Steph for 25 games, lost Wiggins for 40 games....and yet are 32-28 in that span with a bench that doesn't lose leads anymore. They're well-positioned right now, and if Wiggins can come back they look like a serious contender in the West.

If your two best stars can miss half the season each and yet your record actually improves, and you're still in decent playoff position, does that not count as saving the season?

I'm still waiting for a single hater to explain to me why the Warriors are a +12.2 with Draymond on as opposed to Draymond off, despite Kerr playing him heavy minutes with the 2nd unit and Steph/Wiggins missing nearly half the season each.

Big turnover to cost them the game @Gil Scott-Heroin :wow:

Draymond pulled the trigger on the pass too late and made a critical turnover.

Klay blew the coverage on Towns for the game-winner.

Poole missed a three and had a bad turnover in the last 40 seconds.

Steph shot 8-23 including 0-4 with zero points in the final 10 minutes.

Klay shot 5-17 for the game.

They should have won this one. There was plenty of blame to go around.

From saving it to single handily destroying it.

Every time Steph goes to the bench the Warriors lead deflates 10, and this fukking goofy is a major part of that :russ:.

Be an unguarded playmaker brehs.

Warriors were -1 when Draymond was on the court and -7 when Draymond was on the bench. He's single-handedly destroying their season from the bench?

Draymond could have played better but he's not this team's main problem.

Oh hell na plus minus ain't saving you :russ:.

I thought he was saving the season through leading the 2nd unit :ohhh: . Is that why the offense stalled every time Steph was off the court?` At what meaningful moments was draymond orchestrating anything offensively?

That's past tense, it already happened. As bad as they started the season, and with all the injuries to their stars, the Warriors should have missed the playoffs just like 2020 and 2021. Instead, they managed what most posters considered the most favorable seed. Everyone was talking about "how do we get the 6th seed" and the Warriors did it.

But yeah, Draymond + bench can keep you alive in the regular season, but it's not enough for the playoffs. Is that shocking? The scorers need to step up.

You keep pushing this huge narrative of "But the Warriors were so bad with Curry out!" when their +/- were comprable.

They were -1 with Draymond on the court and -7 with Draymond on the bench.
They were +3 with Curry on the court and -11 with Curry on the bench.

The problem isn't Draymond, the problem is that the rest of the team can't do shyt when it counts unless Draymond and Curry are both there. They have Wiggins, Klay, Poole, Looney, Kuminga, Donte, Payton......shouldn't that be enough? Yet unless both Steph and Curry are on the court simultaneously, they're losing ground.

They need Steph. They need Draymond. Both of those are true.
