@Squirrel The Casual Man must not be box score watching today as to why he hasn't bumped any threads.

:lolbron:
I was spending the day celebrating the great Martin Luther King, Jr. while you were looking up the next good white basketball player to make a thread about :mjpls:

The Warriors beating up on another bad team (of course needing 40 points from Steph Curry to do it) isn’t post or thread worthy. Oh yeah, Jordan Poole had 32, accounting for over half’s the team’s points. What a recipe for success that can surely be duplicated night in and night out.

Wake me up on Thursday :bryan:

And yet we're in a thread about a Black basketball player who you always go out of your way to shyt on. Funny that.

:mjpls:

You didn't even watch the game. Box score analysis as per usual. You probably should've just stayed in hiding. Less posts means less times you can embarrass yourself.

Ya'll are idiots. In the last 17 games that Steph has missed, Warriors are 9-8 and that's with either Klay or Wiggins missing most of those games too. If I had told you the Warriors could stay around .500 with Steph and Wiggins out you wouldn't have believed me.

Warriors beat Memphis with no Steph or Wiggins
Warriors beat Utah with no Steph, Wiggins, OR Klay
Warriors beat Toronto with no Steph or Wiggins
Warriors beat Charlotte with no Steph or Wiggins
Warriors beat Portland with no Steph or Wiggins
Warriors beat Atlanta with no Steph or Wiggins

The article was written before it was known that steph and Klay would be in danger of missing half the season, but it's only proving the point even more. This is what saving the season looks like. To stay around .500 while missing the two top scorers and a decimated bench was not expected. Even with Steph and Wiggins both missing 20+ games and Klay missing 14, Warriors are still in the playoff picture.

Draymond was not the problem tonight. AD and Bron were held to a combined 8-25 shooting and only scored 12 and 13 points respectively, that's insane. No team all year has held them to so little. But the Warriors shot just 28% from 3pt while giving up 53% to the Lakers. It isn't Draymond's issue that the Warriors' guards couldn't hit a shot and let the Lakers' guards torch them.

Warriors have won 4 straight since @MikelArteta made that awful bump, even though both Wiggins and Curry are still out. Draymond was +19 against the Clippers last night, +26 against Portland the game before that. The Warriors are now 13-8 in the last 21 games that Steph has missed, even though either Wiggins or Klay missed most of those games too.

Steph has now missed 25 games, Wiggins missed 26 games, Klay missed 12 games, Kuminga missed 12 games, Warriors bench is still crap.....and yet the Warriors are in the 5 seed, one game back of the 4 seed, with Steph coming back next week.

Half this forum said repeatedly that Draymond was unplayable if he wasn't matched with Steph. Narrative is looking more and more ignorant as time goes by. Some of y'all might never recognize that Draymond is a good NBA player and his play helped save this Warriors season.

Dray didn't even play in the first two games of this streak :mjlol:

Home games against a tanking Houston squad and a Minny team who didn't have Towns or Gobert available. Those were scheduled wins. :childplease:

As I pointed out, the next two games were against the Blazers and Clippers and he was a combined +45 in them. And Warriors overall are 13-8 in their last 21 without Steph despite Wiggins being out most of that time.

Do you disagree with the premise or not? Did the Warriors' season not pick up when they started using Draymond to salvage the performance of the bench unit? And has his play not helped hold the team together despite Steph/Wiggins missing over 50 games combined?

Warriors this year have a +6 offensive rating compared to opponents when Draymond is on the court and a -6 offensive rating when he's off the court. That overall +12 on/off difference is the largest +/- on the entire team, more than Steph, Klay, Wiggins, or Looney (who all fall in the +7 to +9 range) and Donte (who is a +2). The team actually has an overall negative rating when Poole, Kuminga, Lamb, or Jerome are on the court compared to off it.

that Minny team is in playoff contention, stop it

Dray has no offensive responsibilities. because when they lose, his lack of offensive production is not an issue for you
so for you to singularly assign Dray as the savior is unfair to Poole, Looney and Kuminga.
