This thread is hilarious. Absolutely hilarious. The ignorance and bias of people is showing up in spades in here...

All I'm gonna say is this... there are very few Panthers fans out there... very few. Yet you have ALL these people in this thread wanting Cam to win... I wonder why. :heh:

Yet that same group turns around and says the media is bashing Cam using racial undertones (and yes, a lot of the judgment now has to do with him being black, not all of it though). It honestly goes both ways.

Since Cam is on a rival team in my team's division, I couldn't care less if he develops into a great or not. Good if he does, oh well if he doesn't. He'll be out in Carolina in a few years anyways. :jawalrus:

This is dumb.

I don't want any player to fail.

It's amazing how you pervert black posters in here as carrying the same "I hope he fails" sentiments we see numerous whites in the media and elsewhere have for black athletes.

I'm sorry...it doesn't go "both ways." Show me examples of black talking heads who constantly show racial bias towards whites on TV. Blacks sports radio heads and callers slighting white QB's or blacks filling up the comments section talking sideways about white qbs based on new invented and retarded measures....for example....Bill Polian using the win/loss record of a QB that was the first pick of the NFL draft. :heh: Show me these new unheralded measures blacks use to slight white qbs on a grand mainstream scale for you to say "it goes both ways."

That is complete and utter bullshyt. If there's a black Colin Cowherd....guess what...he's be looked at as a piece of shyt by blacks who act that way. Prime example....Jason Whitlock. But its funny how silent white boys who frequent here are these retarded white writers, radio jocks and everything in between throw out reckless shyt. Instead of undressing those clowns, I see white dudes either say

1. "Ignore it" (Last Emp)
2. "I don't see it" (Trip)

and now you with the third entry

3. "It works both ways." (YOU)

You guys never address the wack shyt these white boys in print, in the media, or trolling in comments sections do, instead looking for some "equalizer."

fukk out of here with this wackness. That's yall yoke to wear.

It was like a day or two before the season started man. That shyt is ridiculous. I've never seen that before.

It's just weird though...I've never seen black qb's get chance after chance like others have.

Grossman started last year. Rex fukkign Grossman. McGruber was handpicked by Shanny to start. JT O'Sullivan was handpicked my Martz to start years ago. That type a shyt just doesn't happen with black QB's....

lol @ the crutch comment. Negro please.

You dont think the race thing is used as a crutch too often? thats another discussion though....

We probably dont see Black QBs get chance after chance because the History of Black QBs is very short. Back then there was racism about it no doubt. I think Cam will get his shot, they not gonna up and let him go. He has shown promise.

I do find it strange that Jeff Blake wasn't able to latch on to a team as a back up or at least 3rd QB.

Same with Quincy Carter. If Kerry Collins got another shot after all the sh!t he did early in his career, I felt Quincy should have as well. Same with Anthony Wright. How the hell did he just fizzle out of the league?

I mean let's be real, black QB's have shorter leashes. There's NO way you can disagree with that

Hell if Kyle Boller hadn't retired, he's STILL be on somebody's roster and we all know he sucks azz

Jeff Blake had like a 13 year career and played for like 7 teams.

Quincy Carter was a coke head. For every Quincy Carter there's a Jim Drunkenmiller or Eric Ainge.

who led his team to a 10-6 record and to the playoffs. Like I said, if Kerry Collins could get a second chance (more than 2 actually), why couldn't Quincy? You mention Drunkenmiller but what had he EVER proven ON the field?

It's a slippery slope for black QB's bruh. They have a shorter leash and it's kind of obvious. Granted some of the issues they run into are brought onto by themselves but let's not be foolish to suggest the majority of the black QB's aren't under more of a microscope than any other QB's. That's just my point.

All I know is Sam Bradford(former No.1 overall pick) doesn't receive anywhere close to the criticism that Cam does. The man is straight :trash: has been since he enter the league, and is clearly the worst to go number 1 in the last 8 to 9 years after :jawalrus: He has a worst TD:TO ratio, QB rating, YPC, Passing %, and has scored less touchdowns in 3 seasons then Newton scored all of last year. On top of that Bradford's contract is worth 78 million dollars(50 million guaranteed) while Cam's is only worth 22 million. Yet Sam avoids any and all criticism, never gets called out, and gets excuses made for his shytty play game in and game out(especially last year before he got injured) while we get internet psychologist studying Cam's body language in his press conferences after games.

Are there legit concerns about Cam's play and behavior at times? Obviously yes, but don't I like it when the media comes in with some BS about him being a bust, horrible, or "he is going to be out of the league next year" when even in a down year he outshines the guy that went number 1 the year before him, while getting payed 56 million dollars less.

Alex Smith being able to start is luck more than anything.
Cassel had people cheering when he got knocked out of a game
and I'm pretty sure scouts were looking at Matt Flynn before that Lions game(could be wrong though).

Sure they could have gotten a guy like Garrard or something but would that have really been making progress? With guys like Garrard you already know he's an average QB, no sense in wasting money on him when you already have him on the roster.

Alex Smith was benched for a black QB at one point in his career, that QB was worse than him. This fakkit Jlova acts like Alex had a pass for 7 years, like he wasn't benched for Troy Smith. Shaun Hill and JT O`Sullivan.

Jlova is such a piece of complete dog shyt, if I saw him in real life i`d kick him in his ugly canadain head. Never seen someone hate their starting QB so much when the guy isn't that bad. I just know the dude secretly roots for picks when watching 49ers games

if a white qb had mcnabb resume, he would be starting right now

Not if he played like McNabb did his last 2 years of his career.

And BTW, McNabb's resume is greatly exaggerated shyt. He is one of the most over-rated QB's in the history of the game. The guy had shaky accuracy issues his entire career and he`d go from having one good season, to a mediocre one the next year.

You can look, he was a top 10 passer on year and then the 16th the next. Not to mention he is one of the greatest chokers in the history of the game

He had some bad playoff moments but "one of the biggest chokers in the history of the game"?
