I honestly thought he was overrated but the people criticizing him took it to another level where they want him to fail.

I've never seen a first selected in the draft QB so quickly dismissed as a bust.

That shyt is tied to racial bias.

JeMarcus Russel?

I don't see all these people labeling him a bust, where is this overwhelming number of people saying this?

I totally shytted on Cam coming out, but after last year I had to give that man all the credit in the world he proved me and everyone else dead wrong. His problems right now are surrounding bad decisions, he can fix those in a heartbeat.

That dude could be a top 5 QB for 10 years to come if he gets the right coaching.

While I agree with you that there is certainly a portion of the crowd that dislikes Cam and roots for failure due to skin color, that's not the only reason.

But you took a NFL.com journalist article and ran with a fiasco.

I talked about the Seattle fiasco way before that article, that article was just further proof of the sentiment that was about to come.

And an NFL.com article by a former NFL GM isn't some trash by Colin Cowherd, SAS or Skip Bayless. Those dudes are professional trolls.

Its crazy...yet they won 5 more games when he came to the Panthers. That is a huge difference. Meanwhile, they cop pleas for Bradford.

They use RG3 to shyt on Cam, but they will soon do the same to him if he has a string of bad games. Listen to Cowherd, he is still taking shots at RG3, almost praying for him to get hurt so he can go to his durability argument. He hates that RG3 is :stylin: on Andrew Luck right now. He is very careful to not all out criticize RG3 because he is aware that people know that he has been hating on Cam and Vick for some time. He semi-supports Wilson because he plays for his hometown Seahawks. Right now, they know RG3 is not a threat to win a super bowl because of the make up of the team at the moment. Its cool to praise as if he is some kind of sideshow. He even said it himself "Cam and RG3 are fun to watch, but Andrew Luck is 3-3" :smugfavre:

RG3 is leading the league in completion % and is #3 in passer rating. He is also #1 against the blitz. Yet, he still thinks Andrew Luck is better. :childplease:

This post here screams of hypocrisy, and it makes me laugh.

You hate Colin for doing the protecting Luck over RG3 but ever since they were drafted people on this site have been riding hard for RG3 over Luck.

It's clear as day on both sides, but it's hilarious because one side criticizes the others for the same shyt they do.

We know that there are plenty of black posters on this board who want RG3 to succeed over Luck purely because he is black. But then when Colin Cowherd does the same shyt for Luck over RG3 yall go off on him.

Why do you feel the right to go so hard against someone for doing the same thing you do?

HYPOCRISY.

Its' funny how you can type this yet didn't post anything saying black posters WANTING Luck to fail.

See...that's the difference. Sure, there's going to be plenty of cats wanting RG3 to shyt on Luck because...well...people like Colin. The difference is, I don't see the wanting Luck to fail element coming from black sports fans, writers, radio hosst, comment section posters like we see with those white bigots on the radio or print who want to see in the Cam's and RG3's.

I don't see black scouts talking about a white QB's smile hurting their draft selection or going on radio talking all coded wanting white QBs to fail.

Nah...that's uniquely white boy.

Cam is the #1 pick, people want him to fail because they went out and criticized him for not being worthy of that #1 pick and if he fails they were "right".

People love to be right, it's why they make proclamations of someone being "next", so on and so forth.

But there are plenty of white boys as you call them for wanted him to fail, it aint right and it's raciallly rooted, but wanting the black guy to dominate over the white guy is also racially motivated.

So what's the difference, both are some bullshyt

Of course you don't want to see the difference.

There's an obvious difference on who is in the media. You don't see black sports radio hosts hating on white qbs. But you're in here agreeing that there is hate directed at black qbs sometimes along racial lines but continue to elevate a few messageboard posters to that of a white talk show host fanning his coded hate to millions who feel the same way. :heh:

I'm sorry...it is different. I don't see niqqas on a "national scale" hoping for Luck to fail. But there's never a shortage of white boys in the press, dialing in to some talk show where the host feels just like them, wanting to see some niqqas fail and getting enjoyment out of it.

It's what "many" white folks do enough to the point that its noticeable and is quite acute.

Seriously....that win/loss thing says it all.

I honestly feel like people on here care way too much what ignorant white folks think at times. With that said I do see your point in regards to talk radio, fans etc, but I don't think there many if any legitimate analysts (ex. Polian), who want to see a guy fail because of skin color or to justify their analysis.

You know what, you're right. There is a lot more of the white sports media guy doing that deal than there is the black sports media guy doing that thing.

But for this actually case, I don't see a lot of that for Cam, and I think that is true. I mean the most we got was 4 people from E!spn.

But you are right there is a whole lot more white media people hoping for failure of the black athlete than there is black media people hoping for failure of the white athlete.

It still doesn't excuse the comedy of the fact that this board is full of people who clearly root based of race alone and then get mad when others do the same thing.

I honestly don't care, but to tell me not to talk on what I see, I don't get.

thanks found it.
Bill Polian - ESPN

Can't say I disagree with that, Polian seemed to break it down pretty well.

What would be your criticism if any about Cam's play?

My criticism of Cam would be, he needs to value the football more his ball security cost them a game..and im not a fan of the way he goes about sulking in press conferences..

BUT

To say he didnt have success last year is so dumb it errors on the side of

blind hate. You cant say "Oh they won a few games and he set some records

for rushing so what" nah not so what those records put his team in a position

to WIN..That team was 2-14 before they got Cam from 2-14 to 6-10 isnt

success for a rookie? :rudy: If you cant see an agenda there i dont know
what to tell you

What's the agenda? Not trolling here, just interested in your take and don't like to assume.

I guess 4 more wins is a success :manny: to some, but its not like they were 10-6 or even 8-8 and they're 1-5 this year. Personally I felt like Polian's criticism was legitimate especially how he talked about the simplicity of the offense they ran last year as compared to this year. The w-l record is non-consequential to me as I didn't feel he was saying Cam failed last year as evidenced by his record, as much as just saying, "Look despite Cam's hype the team wasn't successful last year and they/and Cam haven't gotten better or worse for that matter".

Full disclosure as a Bills fan I'm always going to give Polian the benefit of the doubt, especially considering the sorry state of my team these days.:to:
