They still aren’t gonna close it, the name carries prestige.
They will sell it for pennies before closing it, like SE did with Eidos/CD
The lead talent went to Hundred Star Games. At this point Rocksteady is a name that hasn't had a hit game in almost a decade and given the nature of AAA games it could be another half a decade before they get their next game out.
You are right in the sense that Warner Bros Discovery is probably offloading all their studios and they'll let the new owner decide Rocksteady's fate. The studio probably won't close until after that sale goes down.

It’s unfortunate but I’m glad that smart gamers voted with their wallets. Studios shouldn’t be rewarded for putting out shyt that people don’t want.
I’ll be happy with the games as a service model dies for good. It’s really not good but because a handful of games are extremely profitable these clown ass publishers will continue to try to push it.
