We was just talking about the whole always-online thing. I'm not sure why you're trying to change the subject. But, if you buy a physical retail copy of a new PC game, you can add it to your digital library on both "Steam" and "Origin". PC gamers don't care about buy/sell used games because you can get games DIRT CHEAP (under $10, even under $5) if you wait around on slickdeals.net, cheapassgamer.com, or even on "Steam" for them go on sell.
We are talking about the idea of "always online" in general.
People are all over the Internet protesting it but most people are "always online" anyway.
In my opinion it doesn't make sense to resist "always online" and the benefits it brings, just for the sake of being outraged. Some people may really not be able to get an Xbox One and that sucks, but most of the people complaining can and will buy one. It's pure nonsense if you ask me.
As for your point about steam. Sure there are deals to find. And Xbox one has a built in "deal". All you need is one other "family" member to share with and ALL games are half off. Sounds like a good deal to me. And if/when your finished with the games you can still trade them in and get more money back. If you already have the Internet, I don't see why this doesn't sound like an exciting proposition.
