This game will flop. It's "always online":scusthov:

:snoop: nikka, quit acting dumb. It's online multi-player based game that'll be downloaded from PSN. No one has a problem with an online multi-player based game being always online. Folks don't want single-player based games being always online, especially if it's a retail copy.

If the majority of the games your playing, including single player, are online based, then why does a once a day online check in bother you?

What true Single-player games are online-based?

Did you watch E3? I can't remeber one game that didn't talk about being "connected"

Plus all the new features of both consoles need the Internet to work. Why would you purchase one of them if you didn't plan on hooking them up to the Internet?

I'm just saying that folks should have the option to play single player games offline if they want to or online with all the perks if they want to, just like on "Steam". It shouldn't be forced on them.

Steam "forces" you to be online in order to ask for permission to go into offline mode. There is no way you could be a steam user if you don't have the Internet. Same goes for the Xbox One you have the option of playing single player games offline, but it is an online based system. Obviously you have the Internet, and obviously you are interested in online games, so why is an Internet requirement a problem for you?

But you can be offline for 30+ days on Steam without having to check-in. XB1, it's 24 hours.

Steam doesn't allow you to share games, buy physical discs, or buy/sell used games.

Would you be ok with Xbox One if it was entirely online, with the same restrictions as steam?

We was just talking about the whole always-online thing. I'm not sure why you're trying to change the subject. But, if you buy a physical retail copy of a new PC game, you can add it to your digital library on both "Steam" and "Origin". PC gamers don't care about buy/sell used games because you can get games DIRT CHEAP (under $10, even under $5) if you wait around on slickdeals.net, cheapassgamer.com, or even on "Steam" for them go on sell.
