They should try and get a better job than Walmart. They aren't holding these people hostage. Retail work can be done by anyone, there's a reason it doesn't pay well. If you are depending on a retail job to pay your bills you're delusional.

You're absolutely right bruh. They should just go find another job that pays more. Because there are an abundance of them out there..... :ohhh:

Silly me. :bryan:

Lol and that's walmarts fault? Take some responsibility for yourself and create value. Walmart isn't going to pay you 45k a year to scan items nor should they.

It's retail. It's not supposed to be a career.

They don't need 45k, but stop acting like 12 or 13 dollars is unreasonable. Walmart could boost those salaries and barely see a dent in profits.

The shyt goes so deep because of the volume of people they hire. It has a direct effect on the economy. Their whole business model swallows upd most active small businesses with a year of the Walmart opening. So yea, they do have a responsibility to pay a decent wage.

But that's capitalism, and people love it raw and unregulated. They are the largest employer in the united states. 2.1 Million people work for them and they PROFIT over 15 Billion a year on over 400 Billion in sales.

All their competitors pay a higher wage, but they open up shop with the intention of putting other shops and stores out of business. They do it successfully and hire the workers for a much lower wage because they can.

I guess it's the American way.

I'm not familiar with the day to day operations but I'm sure it isn't out of the realm of possibility to work up to 12 bucks an hour if you can show you're not there to be a mindless worker.

I always be saying to myself "Walmart employees be working so hard for nothing" Same as nikkas working at mcdonalds and shyt. They be working hard as hell there for that 7.50 a hr. While a nikka like me working at at&t sitting down on the computer on the coli making 13$ a hr plus commission/benefits and a 45$ a month phone bill. :heh:
