Its true breh.

Battlefield takes alot more than just killing other players to be successful, tons of different factors involved in all aspects of gameplay. Its why call of duty players hop on and get murdered and complain about vehicles and map sizes and shyt.

Plus the fact that the gun game has so many different variables involved from bullet drop and damage related to distance plus recoil and how your gun acts different depending on different movement fire rate and terrain.

Halo feels like a watered-down quake, its all about getting to the good weapon first and controlling the best part of the map, but i guess simplicity is exactly what halo fans want.
Call of duty is the easiest of the bunch by far. But Battlfield absolutely does not take more skill than Halo.

Bullet drop and variable damage exist, but they don't really make the game harder. The overwhelming majority of kills come from whoever the first person is to spot the other player. You don't have to be very skilled at aiming to get kills. The "skill" in battlefield comes from knowing the map layout spawn points, and other players tendencies.

And while power weapons and map control are a big part of halo. The kills come down to one on one skills. Don't matter what weapon you have, or where you are on the map the skilled player will prevail in Halo.

Again, killing people is not the only factor involved to being good at battlefield.

You can have the highest KDR in the whole game and still not end up in the top three on your team.

Recoil, bullet drop and damage absolutely does make the game harder. Battlefield has huge levels and distance plays a very big part in gun fight. It is not easy to keep target at a distance with all variables considered and its not always first to shoot gets the kill in long ranged fights.

But i can see what you mean by halo needing more gun skill in close range fights because the time to kill is higher but gun fights is only a part of the skill needed in battlefield.

You also need to have a highly skilled squad and be able to work together, which is another skill set entirely.

So many factors involved in battlefield, you cant even compare it to halo.

Sure it's hard to compare the two. There's plenty to learn for both of them.

I was just speaking on actual skills with the stick(:whoa:no homo)

In halo evey encounter is a match of stick skills. There's really nothing else like it. Cod, Battlfield, Titanfall, you pull the trigger first, you win. In Halo it comes down to who can aim better, regardless of the circumstances.

I feel you, not trying to derail the thread on some battlefield vs halo shyt, the games are really nothing alike.

The original point that i was trying to make is that adding ads, sprint, etc. Doesn't mean they are changing the game to appeal to casual gamers. And that battlefield has every one of those causal features while still being a high skill based shooter.

Idk, i feel like alot of the features that hardcore halo fans dont want, are features that make games feel more modern.

To me it sounds like alot of these dudes just want new maps for the old halo

:yeshrug:

But im not a halo fan so what do i know

Just got the halo mcc and its boring as hell brehs. I will not be copping halo 5. I'd rather play cod even with their shytty ass servers than this basic shyt. What kind of fps doesn't allow the player to aim down the sights? And how the hell is sprint not a necessity but an ability. Super gay. How anyone wants to play this game is beyond me.

lol can't lie i feel the same way a lil. Got it a week and a half and played it only a handful of times. COD been getting way more burn and i got them both at the same time. I would sell it but I might get the itch to play it down the line..

:russ:

This is how ive always felt about halo.
Ive never liked that bland shyt.

Movement and gameplay just felt:flabbynsick:
In every sense of the word.

nikkas in here talking about banning meech over a fukking opinion?:childplease:

Looks like the lions den is starting to look more and more like neo-cac everyday.
:scust:

And Battlefield has always been better with a higher skill level than halo, even with all the so called "casual shyt" halo doesnt need.

:sas2:

I know this nikka @AkaDemiK blood is boiling reading this shyt. You three nikkas should off yourself btw. Esp the last nikka I quoted

I will speak on this though....you're completely in the wrong here. Not only is BF a different type of shooter, but to even compare it and say it's more skillful than an arena shooter (halo) is pure nonsense. The only console shooter that you could say took more skill than Halo is Shadowrrun. Don't let fun and excitement cloud your judgment when a single match of Halo CE has more depth and skill than every battlefield game combined.

People can put spawns anywhere on the map in BF, you'll never know the "map layout spawn points"

:laff:

Player tendencies?

:mjlol:

Yes you choose to spawn where you want, but after you play enough you pretty much know where people are coming from and can pick them off
