when is the drop date for Halo 5?

it isnt announced yet...prolly november as usual



Game mode needs work. There isn't an incentive to move. It's swat with less shields and weapons that do way more damage. Automatics are OP because of the damage output with each weapon and their retarded range. Melees and Spartan Charge are now one hit kills, because of the damage modifier so sprint is even more retarded. Grenades are also one hit kills, so "throw n pray" is welcomed, another retarded thing. Might as well just fully copy SnD by putting an objective in there and stop the bullshyt.

Game mode needs to be Pistol starts only. Remove the SMG and place it on the map in locations where it isn't easily accessible. Use the game's normal shields and damage output to somewhat prevent ppl from abusing sprint and throwing random nades everywhere. Remove sprint because it breaks everything about the gametype.

As of now, the gametype is trash imo....played it a couple times before I got bored of it.

I will speak on this though....you're completely in the wrong here. Not only is BF a different type of shooter, but to even compare it and say it's more skillful than an arena shooter (halo) is pure nonsense. The only console shooter that you could say took more skill than Halo is Shadowrrun. Don't let fun and excitement cloud your judgment when a single match of Halo CE has more depth and skill than every battlefield game combined.

If you want my honest opinion, i feel like skills on the sticks is easy because of auto aim and unless your playing with mouch a keyboard, the game is holding your hand. I dont find it hard to hit a moving target in a game like halo.
Doing everything needed to be the best player in a match of battlefield takes more than skills on the stick.

Harder to be top player in battlefield than it is halo.

let's agree to disagree, however you are correct about mouse+kb being better than shooting on consoles, i'll agree with that. You relly can't compare these type of games to each other though, it would be better to compare Bf to COD/Titanfall/Killzone/Socom etc.

I don't know about all that shyt you mentioned bruh. You definitely have to watch your steps on breakout. The SMG is great. With the combination of thrust and sprint, battles against the opponents is fukking fun, not to mention getting hail Mary nade kills. The simplicity and the reduced life makes breakout really competitive and fun when scrubs are not involved. Being down 1-4 and coming back to win...

Yea, you gotta watch your steps, that's common in a game of halo or any shooter. You have to be more aware in this gametype tho because will go flying around corners with their smg or melees, smh.

The smg is great if you lack thumbs and want easy kills. There is nothing great about a close range weapon being as effective as a BR/DMR from ranges outside of CQC, especially with it's increased power in breakout. It's the go too weapon outside of sprinting melees in a gametype that is suppose to reward precision and accuracy. I also don't find battles between two players engaging and fun when both are sprinting/thrusting behind cover every time when they are weak, it makes shootouts last too long (even in this gametype) and rewards reckless behavior. You're enjoying it tho..I guess that's what matters in the end.

The hate Halo 5 has been receiving reminds me of the hate that Halo 2 got when it was released.

Halo CE is the goat Halo and some of you in this thread trying to group CE with 2 and 3. Nah breh :camby: CE gameplay and mechanics was very different from 2 and 3.

Who's know, Halo 5 might end up like Halo 2 where everybody loves it in the end.

Game still needs major tweaking to be the next chapter my breh, but you are def correct on everything you said about CE, it's the GOAT and stands above every and any halo game. Halo 2 did get a lot of hate after following the greatness of CE, but at-least it didn't change the core of the game to something it wasn't, it was still halo just not CE.
