WHAT??!?!? These are not the same. Camo and OS are POWERUPS, that when you pick them up the look of your spartan instantly changes, notifying everyone that you have one or the other. Bubble shield and the grav lift are EQUIPMENTS that when you pick up no one knows you have them and you have to press a button to use them. Camo/OS can be found under the player traits menu in halo games because that what's they effect, the trait of a player. Grav/Bubble can be found under the equipment menu in halo 3. Do your homework son.
Don't matter what you call them. The point is halo has had game altering "powers" since its inception. It's not some new concept exclusive to the newer games. You can say you don't like the new ones but you can't claim "powers" are something alien to the franchise.
These things weren't nerfed, they were removed, because ppl complained about them being changed or added to the series, you're using the wrong word here. Halo 5 is an evolution of Halo 4 minus certain things. It does not feel or play like OG Halo. Stop it. Look at any gameplay of Halo 1-3 then Halo 4 and it looks like a different series with spartans.
It absolutely does not look or feel like a different franchise. Stop it. The same strategies work, and people play pretty similar to OG halo. It's definitely more similar to OG Halo than it is to any other shooter.
Fall damage was only in two games and it's at the bottom of the totem pole in regards to things that make halo feel like halo. The health bar? really fam...the UI is what you are using as an argument of change? LMFAO. The pistol was swapped in place of the BR as the primary utlity rifle, this is just giving us a new gun to shoot with, again...you can't be serious with this as an argument LOL. Physics? grenade damage/spread???? Again, these are not changes that are worthy of an argument as to "how halo has changed over the years". These are sandbox, UI and weapon trait changes, none of which will affect the feel of Halo. I'm dying laughing right now.
No its not just the health bar, its the way health works in general. It's very different in 3 than it was in 1.
And these are very big changes to how the game plays. You've just deemed them OK for whatever arbitrary reason, but using your logic Halo 3 doesn't play like a "halo game" when compared to halo 1
And that's my point. The series has changed a lot with each iteration. The idea that changes started with reach is just not true.
There were changes to the series and never once did I feel like Halo didn't feel like Halo anymore. The only time I had this feeling was Reach and Halo 4 and both games have similar features.
The only reason you are saying this is because they had some features from COD. "Change" isn't
your problem. You just have an irrational hate for COD, so anything that can be deemed similar in Halo makes you rage.
MCC is not NEW HALO genius. It's old games on a new console. When I say new HALO I'm talking about the next game in the series aka Halo 5. I want Halo 5 to play like HALO. Jesus christ man. C'mon son and you ask REAL halo fans all over the net if Reach and Halo 4/5 play like real halo they will tell you, better yet...they already did when they stopped playing Reach and Halo 4.
You clowns have decided to hate ANYTHING that's new. So what's "new" halo to you?
COD/Battlefield have been the same game since forever with better gfx, new maps, weapons, story mode every year and they sell like hot cakes and have longevity till the next version. How can you not realize that Halo is changing too much to keep ppl playing it unlike the two games I just named? COD: AW added that jetpack shyt is the most drastic change in the series since COD 4. These ppl have basically been buying the same game every year and the population numbers are ridiculous and you can't put 2 n 2 together? you're a lost cause.
No COD is falling off every year. It hit its peak and is now trying to gain its popularity back through changes to the core gameplay.
