And that head in the sand shyt is exactly why we'll be Brazilian, perpetually tucked away in the slums status in 2-3 decades

You can blame cacs and your own people's mistakes at the same time but then it wouldn't be fun anymore huh

Black boomers overwhelmingly were servants to white boomers.. Always cleaning up behind them.. You had minimal numbers of white boomers cleaning up behind a black person.

Lets get back on focus.

I think you're mixing up Black Boomers with the Black Silent Generation.

Most Black Boomers born after 1953 were working in plants, nurses, or service jobs for the city or federal government. Younger Black Boomers had more white collar jobs like working in the health insurance industry, mailroom, banks, or customer service jobs.

I bussed tables for several years and didn’t notice this shyt with boomers or whatever . If anything there was a difference between cacs and black people. Cacs would be entitled and leave shyt a mess while black customers left it neat and organized

In 1975, not in 1953. And the term last one hired, 1st one fired, came from that era.. Things was shifting when we were getting those jobs in the late 70s because they were shipping those jobs away.

Can't put blame on black boomers like you can with white people. Their boomers must shoulder a larger portion for the f*ck up of this country.

Black Boomers were still able to get those newly created white collar jobs after some of the factories closed down. Those city and federal government service jobs were still there as well.(the federal ones are still there by the way :yeshrug:)

Why do you think the Black Middle Class was big as it ever been in the 90's.

It was the Black Boomers that made up the overwhelmingly majority of that Black Middle Class in the 90's.

Let’s compound this and say everyone stacked their plates which means you get to spend less time bussing the table. Congrats, you just pulled dishwashing duty added to your responsibilities:pachaha:

Everyone black wasn't getting those jobs in large numbers. And the crack epidemic was big in the 80s and 90s due to the lack of those factory jobs. Put ALL of the history on the table and figure it out

A lot of people got on crack while they were working 9 to 5's. I know of plenty of stories of people losing their jobs because they got addicted to drugs back then. People started spending their whole paycheck to get high every 2 Fridays. Many of the cases were people throwing their whole life away to being a drug addict.

And large numbers of black people got lost in the struggle trying to get a decent job, while being maids.. What are you arguing here, that black boomers have some blame in the current condition of this country?

Did they help her carry the tray to the table though? :lupe:

That shyt is heavy. Folks so entitled expecting restaurant staff to not only cook the food but carry that shyt to their table.

U want them to chew it for u too :troll:

Fukk outa here with this:camby:

And i actually do go out my way to leave the table literally just like the post. shyt stacked, trash piled up, even wipe the table up best i can.

But like another poster said, that is more out of consideration as a former food service worker than not feeling "entitled". I know how a lot of these people are. Trying to push their job duties on the next staff to make their jobs easier, snatching each other tips, waitresses not properly prebussing or tipping out the bar back/bus staff properly.

Its always cool to be considerate but low key i would feel embarrassed asf to put out the energy like i actually EXPECT this shyt, like i was inadequate at my work. But i actually still believe in the lost art of taking pride in ones work, so maybe thats just me ::manny:

Boomers are entitled asf, but that dont make this bih come off any less entitled. Both can simultaneously be true.
