that post all star game d wait stimulus that makes us believe we can make another 30-11 run:mjgrin:

36 million dollars and 3 years for an inefficient, injured combo guard that barely plays.

fukk that 30-11 stretch. Put us in NBA purgatory.

Zach Lowe has had great things to say about Spo, Bam, J-Rich, and Heat culture but this is what he has to say about us right now.

No NBA team has ‘bleaker outlook than Miami.’ Sobering analysis of Heat from ESPN writer

On a podcast last weekend with information king Adrian Wojnarowksi, respected longtime ESPN NBA writer Zach Lowe said: “I’m not sure any team in the league has a bleaker outlook than Miami.”

The Heat, without any superstars on its roster, is already well above next year’s salary cap and won’t be able to clear substantial cap space until the summer of 2020.

Look at those big names! 2020 is definitely the season to be prepping for them big name free agents.

By then there will be other up and coming stars and some of these would have fallen off. :francis: I say we focus on growing our current talent that we're stuck with :manny:
Despite me clowning Bustise every chance i get for his failures I do wanna see him succeed since we're stuck with his contract for 2 more years. Same with TJ and Dion. And honestly i don't understand why some of you dislike Dion so much. Is he overpaid? Yes. But he's still a good player and has worked rather well in our system until the injury.
Personally, I feel the team should invest more money in a badass scouting team to scout little-known talent that may fall to the 2nd round and feast on those. Face it, what other choice do we have?:yeshrug:
  • We don't have cap space for another 2+ years
  • We don't have many #1 draft picks
  • The few draft picks we have arent high so chance are high impact or stars are slim
So putting heavy money into scouting is our only option here. I know it's hard to sell this plan of pouring more money into a losing product to Micky if it wont sell tickets and i'll understand if he says fukk that. :beli:
I know i probably would if it was my money.
