My nikka you really wanna go down this route? :mjlol:

We both know this team ain’t doing shyt, join with me in the land of lotto as we pray for Zion :wow:
Outside of the Wizards and maybe the Nets no team below us is trying to make the playoffs and the two teams in front of us the Magic and Nornets aren’t great and we should be a team be better then.

Told y’all the team would go on a run and a lot of y’all would be :fire::angry:we are winning. They are a game out the 8th spot and two games out the 7th spot.

Give up on tankwave the team was never going that route

Wade isn’t going out like Kobe he is getting one more playoff moment before riding off into the sunset

4-2 road trip :ld:

Got a feeling these boys fukk around and make it to at least the 6 seed when Dion come back. Gonna be interesting to see what we do at the trade deadline considering we need to get under the tax. I think Wayne may be the odd man out, Airplane mode been eating his minutes lately.

The road trip showed the team still had grit. Hell could have been 5-1 because we had a shot at beating the Lakers on the last shot.

I was opposed to resigning Wayne but it is what it is. I'm just hoping we can ship him to a team that needs shooters AKA the Lakers. If we get a 2nd round pick out of it i'm good.

I been tank wave, but the Wade stan in me does want him to get one last playoff run.

Hopefully Dragic will be back on Thursday. I think Dion will be back in a couple weeks. Wayne didn't even play last night. if They can get a 1st for him, they should probably do it. maybe from a team that thinks they are a contender and needs shooting. like OKC, Houston, New Orleans, or Philly

If the Heat could get that it would've already been done.

If Riley gets a first for Wayne... he should be in jail and the GM that gives away the 1st should at least be placed on house arrest after being fired. :pachaha:
I doubt anyone will give us a 1st for a journeyman on a one year contract that hasnt played much all year. Hell even a 2nd rounder is a bit of a longshot but i'm hopeful we'll get it.
But crazier things have happened :manny:

Heat, Pat Riley Have No Interest In Long Rebuild
DEC 16, 2018 8:20 PM

Riley_Pat_mia_130331.jpg

Even with a losing record and a top-10 payroll in the NBA, the Miami Heat lead by Erik Spoelstra and 73-year-old team president Pat Riley refuse to tank their season or undergo a rebuilding process.

On the topic of whether the Heat should tank their season for a high draft pick, Spoelstra responded “do the history on it. What franchises have had the most enduring sustainable success over the last 24 years? We’re up there with the top three or four. The teams that constantly tank, I don’t know where they are...but if you are hardwired to find a way to get it done without any excuses, you will find different pathways. There’s no one way to do it.”

Other NBA executives have noted the Heat's lack of flexibility in the trade market with Josh Richardson their most valuable piece, but they feel that Richardson would only be available if the Heat could land a star in return.

The Heat have been frequently linked as a potential destination for John Wall as they believe their unique team culture could rehabilitate any player.

Erik Spoelstra understands the question. He’s heard it before. The Heat are 11-16. They have the NBA’s highest payroll—a whopping $158 million. They lack a true superstar. The draft pick situation isn’t great. What exactly is Miami doing? … Miami? Under Pat Riley, a Heat coach or executive since 1995, the team has relentlessly pursued winning. Under Spoelstra, the Heat head coach since 2008, the team has never tanked.

“This is what pro sports is supposed to be about,” Spoelstra told The Crossover. “Competing every night. To try to win. Not the opposite. Obviously not every year you are going to have a realistic chance to compete for a title. Since I have been here, working for Pat, from day 1, that has always been the directive. For me, that brings great clarity. Keep the main thing the main thing. And everything else is just b —- t.”

The Heat argument for the Riley Way is that it’s worked. Since 1995, Miami has missed the playoffs just five times. They have been under .500 four times. Riley’s willingness to gamble—Shaquille O’Neal, for example, who was in the back half of his career and coming off a difficult final season with the Lakers when the Heat acquired him in 2004—has paid off. The culture that Riley and Spoelstra have built has appealed to marquee free agents—like LeBron James and Chris Bosh, in 2010. “Do the history on it,” Spoelstra said. “What franchises have had the most enduring sustainable success over the last 24 years? We’re up there with the top three or four. The teams that constantly tank, I don’t know where they are. It would make for a pretty good discussion. But if you are hardwired to find a way to get it done without any excuses, you will find different pathways. There’s no one way to do it.”

So the Heat organization must have read this thread and had the Sports Illustrated do an article about not tanking. :mjlol: Below is a link to the full article
