We have been waiting on Winslow to live up to his potential for awhile
Waiting on potential CAN GET PEOPLE FIRED
We heard a lot people say Richardson game is more NBA ready but long term Winslow is the better player
Well when is he going to show it
Spo hasn’t done him any favors filp flopping him in and out of the lineup and position change put he hasn’t shown to me enough flashes on the offensive side of the ball
To me the fact that Richardson has lapsed him to the point that they are saying JRich you are the primary or secondary scorer on this team tell me they don’t see Winslow as that type of option
Winslow's lack of development is not totally Spo's fault. Spo's primary job is to win games. This team has made it clear that developing young players is not their main focus. If you are Spo and you have both Winslow and James Johnson which are in a way the same player with what they can do but James Johnson is much better ain't no freaking way I'm giving Winslow the plate I'm over James Johnson unless I know Winslow is ready to make a leap soon and it will pay off.
I don't think Spo has much confidence in Winslow.
I blame the organization for drafting Winslow because , like I said before they never scouted the kid. They never worked him out. Sometimes good players fall to a team but typically I'm always skeptical of the players who slip in the draft because if people were projecting you to be a top 4 Pick and you fall all the way to 10 that tells me that the teams that did work you out for that top 4 - 8 pick saw something in you or should I say did not see you as being worth that top 4 pick.
Miami did this before with Harold Miner when he fell to us in 93. They never worked him out and assumed he'd be gone in the top six and he was there for us at 12. We all know how that worked out.
We did it again with the number 10 pick when we got Caron Butler and thank God that worked out but I was still skeptical.
They worked out and drafted Bam and we all questioned the move but Bam seems to be a pretty damn good pic. I understand some people in here wanted Collins and since I live in Atlanta I see Collins play quite often and yes I get it but I'm not sure I'll pick him over Bam now that I see what damn can do. Tho they are close in terms of potential
