If you capitalize on 2nd rounders you won't need to be signing d-leaguers.

Chalmers, J-Rich =2nd rounders. Winslow should have been one too.

But i know Chalmers was well known being on a good college team

I wish Micky and Riley would hire a serious scout team that goes on the road and watches little known college players who are unlikely to go in the first round so we can have decent cheap talent coming in.
They're ok players but not gonna be corner stones anywhere. Let's worry about how 2nd rounders develop when we have a young allstar core that needs to be supplemented.

Beggars cant be choosers, breh. Right now we have neither all-stars nor 1st or 2nd rounders

I'm happy with Bam and J-Rich thus far and see them as a baseline to play with a star. I know many of you think im a Winslow hater but i still hope that fukka gets his head out of his ass too while he's here.

Nobody coming here because we got JRich and Bam Adebayo, but whatever, we decided to set our selves back further every year so nothing will change til certain people retire..

We’ve got good complimentary players to go around a pair of stars, but no stars or a coach who can maximize the abilities of anyone on offense. As soon as those change, we’ll be in good shape again. The odds of a star coming here right now are nonexistent, so we need to clear cap space and stockpile assets while hoping Spo will get it together on offense or retire.

Bam is Joel Anthony with better hands.
We don’t even no what Bam is because he doesn’t even attempt to shoot the ball period
Everything we see in the summer league from him disappears when the season starts
If we are going to lose I at least want to see guys like him and Winslow at least be aggressive and shoot

We have been waiting on Winslow to live up to his potential for awhile

Waiting on potential CAN GET PEOPLE FIRED

We heard a lot people say Richardson game is more NBA ready but long term Winslow is the better player

Well when is he going to show it

Spo hasn’t done him any favors filp flopping him in and out of the lineup and position change put he hasn’t shown to me enough flashes on the offensive side of the ball

To me the fact that Richardson has lapsed him to the point that they are saying JRich you are the primary or secondary scorer on this team tell me they don’t see Winslow as that type of option

That’s fine as a backup center. He’s a much better rebounder but isn’t the shot blocker Anthony was. The problem is we’re asking for star production out of role players.
You see team exhale when Whiteside leaves the game especially when he blocking/changing shots they go right into the lane at Bam they have no respect for him like that

He is a nice high energy type of player he is in his second season but outside of him being able to bring the ball up and that one time he brought it up and post up and dunked on a dude it is 4 on 5 on the offensive end when he is on the floor

I haven’t seen the growth

We can’t have two lottery pick that can’t or won’t shoot or can’t score

Winslow's lack of development is not totally Spo's fault. Spo's primary job is to win games. This team has made it clear that developing young players is not their main focus. If you are Spo and you have both Winslow and James Johnson which are in a way the same player with what they can do but James Johnson is much better ain't no freaking way I'm giving Winslow the plate I'm over James Johnson unless I know Winslow is ready to make a leap soon and it will pay off.

I don't think Spo has much confidence in Winslow.

I blame the organization for drafting Winslow because , like I said before they never scouted the kid. They never worked him out. Sometimes good players fall to a team but typically I'm always skeptical of the players who slip in the draft because if people were projecting you to be a top 4 Pick and you fall all the way to 10 that tells me that the teams that did work you out for that top 4 - 8 pick saw something in you or should I say did not see you as being worth that top 4 pick.

Miami did this before with Harold Miner when he fell to us in 93. They never worked him out and assumed he'd be gone in the top six and he was there for us at 12. We all know how that worked out.

We did it again with the number 10 pick when we got Caron Butler and thank God that worked out but I was still skeptical.

They worked out and drafted Bam and we all questioned the move but Bam seems to be a pretty damn good pic. I understand some people in here wanted Collins and since I live in Atlanta I see Collins play quite often and yes I get it but I'm not sure I'll pick him over Bam now that I see what damn can do. Tho they are close in terms of potential

Bam really hasnt shown anything to be honest. I dont even know if I can put it all on the coaching staff either he doesnt even look to shoot the ball. I dont care about stats just take some damn shots
a lot of Heat fans overrate our players because they show "flashes" we've become what I used to laugh about with laker fans. Bam and Justise are nothing special. stats nerds love em tho
