This is really a horrible job by Spo

This team should be so much better really

I think his job needs to be in question

Wasnt there a breh in here that said spo got them over achieving?? If u cant trade these guys then coaching needs to be changed. Why did they go away from winslow being point. He starting but he isnt initiating the offense and attacking. We supposed to be a defensive minding team but constantly getting blown out so wtf

How is this just on Spo? We aren’t a great team and we’re in the toughest part of our schedule now. We had a trash record against teams over .500 for the entire season.

I don’t think we’re a good team. We’re average with an average coach who is either tanking us with these crap rotations or just needs to hang it up.

dion has the least worst contract of all the guys they signed :mjlol:

He’s still not worth it and he’s signed for 3 more years. We got him until the end of the 21 season over a 20 game stretch. He was fresh off an ankle injury and had NO REAL INTEREST from other teams across the league because they knew it was a fluke. He didn’t really deserve the contract, Riley was high off the streak like most of us were.

There has to be somthing to the fact that teams come out after halftime and look completely different and pounce on us over and over

This has to be some bad adjustments going on cuz it happens over and over

Feels like a coaching issue

Been this way for years no matter the personnel. The offense is always especially bad after halftime. They just stop moving the ball and stop moving without it the second half of games. Every time too. It just doesn’t make any sense to me that this sort of this happens so frequently. Last year I think it was 29 different games where the were outscored by 8+ in at least the third or fourth quarter, and it wasn’t uncommon for this sort of thing to happen in both. After 11 years this shouldn’t be such an issue. I get that the roster is lacking in talent and has it’s share of overlapping skill sets, but the team should have some sort of identity on offense. I rarely see more than 1 person move without the ball on a possession. I haven’t seen a ton of games this year, but even in the ones I’ve watched, it’s a constant problem.

Dude, why are you expecting roleplayers and journeyman to be consistent players?

It’s not a third quarter thing, you have a team that’s pretty devoid of sheer offensive talent getting game-planned for. When you got “cog in the machine” offenses like ours where it’s a different player going off, after teams figure out where the hot hand lies then they start scheming to make whatever player is hot.

Basketball is about runs. We lack the explosive firepower needed for runs and we lack consistency for our players. Spo’s trash rotations don’t help but we’ve been plagued with turnovers all damn season and that isn’t Spo.

Teams tend to form identity based around their stars. How can you form a decent offensive identity with your best offensive player injured, your new young PG learning the nuances of running an NBA offense, and a bunch of Swiss-at knife players that are ok at some things but not great at anything that have fluctuating roles due to injuries?

We’re a defensive minded team but 3-4 missed defensive assignments can lead to a game being a double digit lead in the blink of an eye and then your offense struggles more.

When is Dragic supposed to come back? Is he coming back? Did they ever release a timetable for his return? Our medical staff is terrible with knee injuries.

All we can hope for is that some contender's key role player suffers a season-ending injury and we can dump some of our bad expiring contracts (Say Ellington and TJ) on them in a trade.:sadcam:

I'll keep JJ Reddikk's and other contenders sharp shooters knees "in my prayers" :francis:

Funny how some people here were ready to dump Dragiç (our most consistent player the last 3 years) for nothing just because Winslow has shown some improvement.

Dont get me wrong i've been preaching that Winslow needs to be the ball handler for a long time. But that doesnt mean he and Dragic cant coexist until Winslow fully reaches his potential. And i'm fine with trading Dragic too but only if we get good value in return. Trading Dragic cant be just a salary dump move like trading TJ would be. Dragic's game hasnt quite deteriorated yet and many team could use him so make sure we get something for him.

That curly hair goddess on the left :wow:

I need that bath water :feedme:

If we're drafting'em my first pick would be the chocolatey little thing one chick over from the curly-haired black one. She seems like she got some extra-naughty in her.
Just look at how she let that bottom lip hang :noah:

I'm not even asking because I want to see him traded. I just want to see this team as healthy as possible because I am tired of the inconsistency.

It's a talent issue. Them nikkas can't keep up. You can only get so far with just hustling and playing hard. The elite talent will always come out on top in the NBA. There's no Cinderella's in the NBA

I know. I said this in the past that we might as well stay put with him because whoever would take him would require us to take some other shytty contract in return and that's taking 6 steps forward and half-dozen back
