The Impossible Kid (2016)

I only enjoy 2 songs but thats mostly because the sound isn't for me, it's an amazing album that I can respect from a distance.

I mean I can dig finding merit in aspects of an album that isn't your cup of tea but what is this if it's not some ole cacplex, pretentious musical prodigy bullshyt.

You only like 2 songs, but it's an AMAZING ALBUM, aside from the fact that you didn't like it. Must mean all the strings and dings are really robust and earthy, who gives a mother fukk.

:mjlol:

Props though, I'ma check it out just because you mentioned it.

Still never met a black Em fan who bought an Em album with the exception of one person. And he wanted to be white. :manny:

Vince is on point.
I bought (and downloaded) Eminem albums and never wanted to be white. I know a ton of people (nikkas) that were put on to Em by his Wake Up show freestyles in the mid 90s. I knew cats who were blown away by his lyrical dexterity and didnt care he was white. All this revisionist shyt about "only white boys liked Em" is crazy to me. I knew mad nikkas who respected the shyt out of Em when I was growing up. Dudes respected his battle prowess long before the goofy singles he made to stand out and market himself differently.

I can't disagree with some of the eminem rhetoric(em shoulda stuck wit Rawkus or whoever would've came after from NY like maybe alchemist....interscope allowed his sound to flat out suck for white dollars).....but Kanye.....better than big:mjlol:STOP IT:mjlol:

Highly respected since 96, 97...

Eminem straight amazed people with his ability. Just because you didn't know or don't remember, doesn't mean it didn't happen.

I'm not going to disagree with what Vince said in this interview but in regards to Eminem if we basing this off of rapping and not music you gotta put him up there skill wise. Sure maybe he might not be as cohesive as Kendrick or the quality of his album as a whole might not be up to par but Eminem is a battle rapper at the core essence since when do battle rappers make hot albums. But if you were to take prime Eminem and put him in a battle with Kendrick that's like having a dance off with Prince vs Michael.
