Media loves these stories of black athletes celebrities losing money. Yet when these dudes invest wisely and make there money grow the media damn near refuses to even make an article on their business smarts.

Or the media bytches because they are such cut throat business men or are cheap with their money.

Fixed.

The media talks about this because the only thing average people love more than idolizing people, is watching those same people fall down. :yeshrug:

i have no remorse for bums like this

they blew 100 MILLION DOLLARS

literally fukking losers and dumb fukks

Dudes don't need your remorse.

You never even had it, never had any talent, never been successful at anything in your life.

Ole watch from the sidelines, looking for the next man to fail ass lame.

How the fukk do you know the CEO and be an all star NBA player. But get a job in a store instead of corporate :wtf:
because he working his way up

show a sense of accomplishment

Saying that he will move up a lot faster than most other employees.

yes, decently.

He will be getting 6 figures as he moves to the corporate side.

..... Baker is working towards becoming the manager of a Starbucks..... his Starbucks gig—which he got thanks to his relationship with former Sonics owner Howard Schultz, the CEO of Starbucks

:wow:

Must be some relationship.

"Go on down there Vin, I've already talked to them about putting you in the manager's training program..."

He personally knows the CEO of Starbucks but the best he can do is work his way up to being manager of a Starbucks? :wtf:

Damn shame.

You want the CEO to be like "let's see - you have a degree from academic powerhouse University of Hartford, where I'm sure you took the most rigorous courses; you've struggled with alcoholism for 15 years; you've mismanaged millions of dollars... will you join my team of executives?" If you can't manage your life, your money, or your drinking, how can you even manage a coffee shop?

All that said, I hate that dude's dysfunction is on front street. Plenty of people struggle with addiction and financial ruin but get good jobs via connections and it all gets swept under the rug. I hope Vin at least owns a house out in R.I. - if so, his quality of life is aight.

I am not saying some high level job in corporate, but some data entry or some shyt like that.

He won a gold medal for the United States. That has to count for something. :mjcry:

Even managing his own store will give him a very comfortable living situation. I have two friends that manage their own stores in Chicago that do well enough for themselves

its probably more rewarding, and will be more financially rewarding, to do it this way. More potential.

As long as Baker is clean and works hard, he will be fine.
