NFL reddit usually has decent discussions except when it comes to Baker. It's a straight up slurp-fest. People create threads on the most mundane shyt with him. "Baker Mayfield wears green socks on Tuesdays" - oh my gosh, that's the coolest thing ever. Baker is just such a good dude, slurp. Green socks are so underrated, slurp.

It started with the Deshaun Watson stuff but they haven't let it go. He gets more love than Burrow, Allen, Herbert (basically any cac QB) combined.

His dad had a good business but ran it into the ground while BM was still in high school and then his pops (I think) was fukking with BM's money recently. It's just young white boys feeling sorry for themselves and now they have a hero.

I'm biased because he's in Tampa but he went from being almost out of the league to throwing for the most TDs in the league when looking at the last two seasons where he's started in Tampa. People love a redemption arc, especially when the team that dumped him (Browns) said they wanted an "adult in the room."

I like Baker cause that MFer fights his guts out to win and it obvious. He is a fighter and will own the NFC SOUTH until Saints and Panthers get their shyt together.
