all the pressure will be on Randle. Not a fan of his, but regardless of how the season goes, if y'all don't win, all the blame will go to him
Yup.all the pressure will be on Randle. Not a fan of his, but regardless of how the season goes, if y'all don't win, all the blame will go to him
Well that is fukking unfair.all the pressure will be on Randle. Not a fan of his, but regardless of how the season goes, if y'all don't win, all the blame will go to him
life ain't fair.Well that is fukking unfair.
There is no THAT guy. The FO wanted to keep continuity and the Oil hucksters out in OKC threw $30 mil a Hartenstein. No one is saying it but no fukking way IHart is worth that. They just wanted to pry him away from the Knicks and have money to burn for two years because their players are mostly still rookies. That is literally the largest contract the organization has given anyone ever….life ain't fair.
but Randle's still a polarizing figure in NY and since he ain't a NOVA guy and everyone fell in love with Hartenstein, some view Randle as expendable or at best the piece for THAT guy.
Nah he's right. Not saying IT'S right, but Randle gonna be the first one blamed. (Unless he plays out of his mind obviously).Ain’t no fukkin way all the pressure is on Randle. Lol.
Everyone has already given Brunson the mantle as the number 1 option superstar “the greatest knick since Ewing”. (Their words, not mine)
We made all the right moves to put a great team around Brunson and Randle. 2 great defensive wings that can shoot. And a great bench, even with the hartenstein loss.
If the season is a failure, its not gonna be on Randle. It will be on our superstar and on our coach.
How do we determine value though? He's now the 9th highest paid center in the league. Only center that makes more than him that he's better than is Ayton. Only center who makes less than him that he's not better than is Wemby. There is no THAT guy. The FO wanted to keep continuity and the Oil hucksters out in OKC threw $30 mil a Hartenstein. The Knicks need another Center, but Randle isn’t the problem. The game is the game, and it can work for you or against you.

Yes, he was and he was one of the top defensive centers.
“Especially factoring in defense”
Clearly you have no idea how this guy plays
If you don’t watch bro just say that
Well, Brunson is going to ball his game is fool proof.Ain’t no fukkin way all the pressure is on Randle. Lol.

So what's his value then?Nah I can’t still see it as a gross overpay.
Which is unprecedented for someone who's at most the 3rd best player on the team, realistically closer to 4th-6th. At least when Bosh & Love carried that burden they were undisputed 3rd wheels, Randle doesn't have to do nearly as much to clear his bar of contribution.all the pressure will be on Randle. Not a fan of his, but regardless of how the season goes, if y'all don't win, all the blame will go to him
Not $30 mil over three years. His impact on winning and stats don’t justify it. It really only make sense because the Thunder have money to spend & why not poach him from another contender. So what's his value then?
