But, he could at least be transparent with the funds in regards to the donation and the process it takes in opening a school.

If that's what you got from what I said then you're not understanding what I'm saying. I understand white supremacy and the ongoing impact of systemic racism. I'm all for doing what it takes to band together for change.

But what I will not agree with is the IDEA that my life and my living is owed to the black community and then make PERSONAL decisions with that mindset. I don't believe that having a non black partner revmoves you from the solution to the black "condition." I'm working to help the black community because I empathize and I've made the decision to do so... not because I have some debt to pay to people with the same color skin as mine. And that mindset is what's going to result in a change... the DESIRE to affect change, not perpetrating the perceived debt black have to other black people just because we're all black.

I went to predominantly black schools from elementary school all the way up to high school. In addition, I attended Morehouse College (on scholarship, but left after my first year cause I did too much partying) and Fayetteville State University. My wife is black too (if that matters to you).
