He's chocolate, tall, into his culture(and PROUD).....I can't complain Atleast she was an "awoke" stripper
Well hey we all start from square one. He is human just like us.
He claims to be conscious, he claims to be upright and upstanding. He claims to respect black women however, he gets involved with a stripper. Let's be honest, the sex industry (and stripping is part of it) doesn't treat black women with much respect. It promotes the hypersexual image of the black woman. If he was so for black women, he wouldn't get involved with that situation. He's going around saying how righteous he is however, he acts the complete opposite.I don't understand why him having sex with a stripper is such a big deal.

But he added to his mistakes acting like a jackass. You would think he would try to talk her out of such a job (especially because she had a son) however, he didn't.He is human. We all make a mistakes.
I'll admit I may have not watched as many speeches on him as other but, I've never heard him talk about how rightous he is.He claims to be conscious, he claims to be upright and upstanding. If I'm not mistaken he was going around saying he's celibate and talking about how righteous he was. Can't do that and try to pass yourself off as a role model for young men. He's showing them how to act towards women. And he's showing young women what to expect in a man. Can't do that in his position, he's a leader. It's funny when leaders get the perks for being leaders they don't complain however, when they have to deal with the responsibilities of being a leader, now everything is unfair.I'll admit I may have not watched as many speeches on him as other but, I've never heard him talk about how rightous he is.
If that's what you got from what I said then you're not understanding what I'm saying. I understand white supremacy and the ongoing impact of systemic racism. I'm all for doing what it takes to band together for change.
But what I will not agree with is the IDEA that my life and my living is owed to the black community and then make PERSONAL decisions with that mindset. I don't believe that having a non black partner revmoves you from the solution to the black "condition." I'm working to help the black community because I empathize and I've made the decision to do so... not because I have some debt to pay to people with the same color skin as mine. And that mindset is what's going to result in a change... the DESIRE to affect change, not perpetrating the perceived debt black have to other black people just because

He's a public speaker and he says he's trying to raise money for a school. That puts a person in the leadership position.Idk I don't even look at him as a leader really. To me he is a man with a message. Some of his message I agree with other parts I don't but, whether he has sex with a stripper or not really doesn't change my opininion on whether his message is right or not.
I will never understand this argument. BP literally fought for you to have the liberty to date who you want but instead of DESIRING to create what we need most, strong Black families, you want the option to date the off spring of the oppressor so that you can help his community and likely create children who will want to identify with him.
Sorry I really don't respect BP who date interracially. It would be different if our oppression was over or even better. But it's not. We are still getting fukked. BP are the only people on this utopia shyt and b/c of it we get screwed every time.
Lol... I've stated my ethnic background on this site before. But I'll do it again for you. I'm black. Both of my parents are Guyanese. I went to predominantly black schools from elementary school all the way up to high school. In addition, I attended Morehouse College (on scholarship, but left after my first year cause I did too much partying) and Fayetteville State University. My wife is black too (if that matters to you).
As far as my username... I'm from Fayetteville, NC. J. Cole is from Fayetteville, NC. His first name is Jermaine... you clown.
And what about my thinking is retarded? If you don't agree, then that's fine. But nothing about my logic is retarded. At worst, it's just different from your own opinion.
