Is that what happened to Pop Smoke and PNB Rock?
What city do you recommend rappers live in?
Most rappers get the most hate on the home turf. NY is notorious for trying to jail or kill its own. Anywhere but its a better option.

French's close homie Juu Hef, one of the cofounders of the YGz, was killed by A-Boogie's people years ago.
Flybridge is opps with French's hood anyways.
The OGz broke off from the YGz after Juu Hef died too.

So fukking up the bag and freedom for some type of revenge is the move in your eyes?

It's upto them how they want to ride for their brothers, homies, etc.
It ain't always about money over honor and loyalty.
Did PNB Rock & Pop Smoke get killed in places where they have permanent residences. No.
So you're arguing just to argue.

My point exactly. You can get killed anywhere.
I wanna know where you think these rappers would be safe. Name the solution, not the problem.
Nah, this isn't true, at all.
That's happening with these young high school-aged idiots. Because they're a lost generation. They have no code. Most NY rappers who've actually had success spend time around their way and get wild love and respect. Actual legends. The low-level dumb drill rappers are the ones who can't stay outta stupid sh*t. But those are also the dudes that the culture doesn't even acknaleodge. Nobody will be talking about these losers a year from now.
But the real legends who dropped classics and built sh*t for Hip Hop, have always been able to roam freely where they're from. When someone gets caught out there on their own block, and it's an MC from the Golden Era, it's mad rare. Like what happened to L. Mad rare. And that wasn't even about him.
Word cause French old AF......putting time and money in the kid.....so IDK how this would result in anything but a loss from what you're saying.
wasn't French extending olive branches to Jim jones; and jimmy told him to pound sand more or less?
French been confused and shaky about a lot of things since the mid-2010s. That's why the core fanbase all stopped listening after that era cause the music ain't what it used to be either.
I don't think French really involved in street beef. But French affiliation is Mac Balla and YGz, hence, Mac & Cheese. French can't meddle too much without hurting himself, but he'll probably tell his artists to not crash out.
As for Jim Jones, he got no pull in the streets. He's a studio gangster. French getting cool with him and increasing his relevancy just hurt French. Should have taken a "live and let live" and "don't give Jim attention" mentality.
So...how comes P always got into shyt? I do see what you mean though (LOX, Wu, Boot camp in particular seem very well loved, as do KRS and most of the 80s group)Nah, this isn't true, at all.
