The reason men go crazy for certain women is because of their facial features, body, and overall feminine energy. For example, one of the finest women I've ever seen in my life is Taral Hicks.

She's perfect in every way IMO. And there ain't a man breathing that wouldn't wanna be with her. She is a living breathing example of why colorism is total bullshyt. All these women whining about black men preferring light skin women are just not that attractive to begin with. And they think they can get black men to be attracted to them by shaming them into rejecting attractive light skin women. shyt pisses me off. If these women complaining about colorism looked like Taral Hicks, they would have no problem getting male attention.

If you're an attractive woman you'll have men chasing you. Your skin color has ZERO effect. What has an effect on whether men are attracted to you is your face, body, and femininity. If you're pretty, in shape, and feminine, then men will be fighting each other to get with you. PERIOD.

I will admit I’m envious of her hair because I cut mine and I’m ready for it to grow back.

And colorism is an issue and why some men pick women. I have two friends who are definitely better looking than me, one with a killer body, and I’ve had men pick me over them just because I’m lighter. After the fact a man told that one of them would be bad if she wasn’t so dark.

Stop paying attention to what people say. People say bullshyt all the time they never did or will do. Instead of looking at what they say, look at what they DO. Actions peak louder than words.

For example, a guy can say he only likes light skin girls but put a girl like Taral Hicks in front of him and he'll go crazy for her. Same with women that say they only like dark skin guys. Put a guy who looks like Trey Songz in front of em and they'll be throwing themselves at him. When people say dumb shyt like they only a certain type of person, they are simply regurgitating social programming. Its not really based on how they feel. Because at the end of the day what we find attractive in the opposite sex was determined millions of years ago by our biology. Fine is fine. At the end of the day no man or woman who is attractive has ever been turned down because of their skin color.

If you're getting turned down by someone its because they don't find your face, body, or personality attractive. It has zero to do with skin tone.

If colorism was real, then there would be a plethora of beautiful dark skin women out there in the world for us guys who are into pretty girls regardless of skin tone to scoop up with ease. But last I checked I rarely see pretty dark skin girls struggling to find a man.

Do I think some (emphasis on some) women lean on colorism when they are likely just highly unattractive to most, honestly yes.

But it IS real, and it isn't bullshyt...and I'm one of those darkskin women who generally have no problem attracting men...yet I've experienced on more than one occasion being told I looked good for someone dark or the time most memorable "you're so BLACK...but you're really pretty."
