Yo this isn't about that clown Troy. That cac shytted on NY as a whole
What is hurting troy ave. And getting him so much hate, is not his music, its his MOUTH. You cant keep talking that "I'm bringing NYC back", "I'm real hip hop", and diss the same people who may end up being your biggest fans because they love good music, the weirdos who wear shorts above the knee, as he says. If he would have held his head high and just said he was bringing his form of good music to the masses,,as well as not trying to be the biggest dope boy around by rhyming about different things for singles, he would have gotten a strong following with just his music because its good. The way he's doing it now, people just want to hate becase he hurt their feelings.
All these rappers claim they read the "48 laws of power" but they seem to ignore law #3 "conceal your intentions, and law #4 "always say less then necessary".
Yeah the sneak diss of Bleek was wack as fukkI don't like the way the homey tried to sneak diss Bleek.
This article tries just as hard as Troy does.
Sounds like they read a bunch of Troy Ave threads and comments from The Coli and scrambled this shyt together.
Troy Ave is nothing more than the next in a line of Mainos, Papooses, Uncle Murdas, Vados, and Saigons: sacrificial lambs who must fall flat on their faces and die in order to further prove that New York is not the center of the hip-hop universe.
Saigon in his prime was dope as fukk tho. Like top 5 in all of rap at the time dopeeven as a NYer I cant front on this statement. none of us would have ever even heard of the bolded if they weren't from new york
I hope so.Article itself says dude is only talking that king of NY shyt for attention....he don't even believe that shyt im 99% sure....Troy might be smart enuff to know exactly what the article is saying:
"Because the vast majority of the rap press resides in New York, the Birthplace of Hip-Hop, they will pay attention to him, give him national press, and then scratch their heads when no one in any other part of America gives a shyt. Troy Ave is nothing more than the next in a line of Mainos, Papooses, Uncle Murdas, Vados, and Saigons: sacrificial lambs who must fall flat on their faces and die in order to further prove that New York is not the center of the hip-hop universe."
is absolutely true as much as it must hurt the souls of Nyers....he know he wont be around too much longer once the next NY hype destined to go nowhere pops up and the media jumps on they dikk....might as well make some money and boost his visibility while he can for as long as he can
