Only read the beginning of your post, horrible advice. Hate it or love it that "no limit" track is a huge hit already which is probably a big reason this thread was made in the first place. Nothing wrong with giving an artist a plan for sustainable success but you dont just throw away a song that the masses enjoys.

bruh, that no limit song is HORRIBLE and a bad look
it's just a quick cash out for a sound that's currently popular; it's a "lemme play catch up and try to fit in" song
usher tryin' to fit in and he's playin' "follow the leader" and guess what? he's NOT the leader

plus, again. the song is horrible. remedial lyrics and a beat like any other song out right now. forgettable trash

Dude's been dropping albums for like 22 years, but he hasn't been able to lead in a minute.

He fukked up when he got away from doing his own thing, and started jumping on trends after Confessions. When that club sound was hot, he started doing that. Then he jumped on EDM. Now he's trying to do trap R&B. I always felt like if he stayed in the lane that took him to the top, he'd be okay. But he's been having trouble getting his new album out for the past couple years because the tracks he's throwing out as tests aren't hitting people. He's a vet, he shouldn't be following what people are doing today.

i still believe usher could comeback
music in general is at an all time low
there is no real competition out there right now because almost everyone is settlin' for below the bar bullshyt
so he could easily swoop back in the game like it ain't nothin' with well written and produced songs/albums/music

get this nikka back in the studio with these nikkas!

EDM blew up in the USA and it's influence/impact couldn't be ignored because popular tastes was changing

..and because of that his older sound became dated and he tried to fit in with the newer sounds by doing more electro-R&B

Usher to me is world class. Where he has all these other mj knock offs is he is a genuinely great singer and vocalist. I fx with usher. Sings waaaay better than timberlake and breezy.

Seems like dude is going through a 2nd childhood phase or something. Like he's afraid to make grown, mature balled type music now and wants to remain "cool" amongst the 16 year olds by making songs with rappers like Young Thug.

This is the state of R&B tho.

Even Tank made this bullshyt:

that wasnt even on his album it was just a track to play with that sound and his last album was amazing because he was able to do modern grown rnb with the current sound
