I always tip delivery drivers when ordering food. Always wondered why its seen as normal to tip them but not a delivery driver who might deliver you something else, like something you ordered from Amazon or some shyt..maybe they make a better wage but its still strange to me
Check those policies. Some tips are included in the bill for deliveries. Sometimes they don't even go to the driver:mjlol:.

Another example of the company shytting on its own worker then said workers complain about customers tips. Can't make this shyt up.

Restaurants should pay their workers a fair wage regardless
With that being said I tip my waiters, its hard out here and a lot of u c*nts stiff them
If I don't feel like tipping I'll get carryout

I always tip as it's the socially required thing to do...

But I would legitimately rather pay more for the meal than feel obligated to pay a tip.

It just really doesn't sit well with me. The fukk should I have to pay a server in addition to my food because the management has a shytty business model?

i tip because it is the custom. It is the tax you pay to eat out - simple.

There are aspects of it that i disagree with like establishments should be paying more, it encourages female servers to be thots, there is assymetric treatment to good and bad service etc etc.

If i violently disagreed with the culture I WOULDN'T GO, or start some anti tipping movement.

So you ignore that tip jar at the carryout counter?

i tip between 15-20% unless the service is bad.

i wish gratuity was just included in bills though. i'd probably feel worse if i lived in a state that paid their servers below minimum wage.

One of those stupid things that only exists in USA.
Yup. I remember when I was in Sicily and went to tip the waiters. They were like :whoa::no: to them that means you're telling them their service was shytty. In this case I was tipping bc the food and service was fuking outstanding. They always hooked us up with extra shyt and would take shots with us. That restaurant was the shyt!

I tip. If the food/service is good why not show the establishment/servers my appreciation, especially places that I frequently go to.:yeshrug:

Tipping handsomely, is also a reason I haven't experienced a fukked up haircut since I was a teen.
Lol folks don't get that. If you tip, they hook you up. There are places I frequent that knock plenty of stuff off the check. It goes two ways.

That's subjective to a degree. And if a party of 8 hates the service and tips nada, it's effed up. Because 3 other couples that might love the place can't be seated. So now the server suffers because someone with no manners is a cheapskate. And cheapskates like that are probably 3/4 of the people that go to restaraunts, at least.

Restaurants have automatically placed a gratuity when serving large parties to alleviate these types of issues. But yes I do understand your point.

Make a commitment to yourself to earn more money this year so leaving a tip doesn't get you so emotional. Nobody with 6 certs cares about this

I tip for my own sake, not theirs. I gotta stay earning to not be like yall

You shouldn't have to tip. Waiters should just get paid a normal and livable wage.
Prices would just go up if waiters got paid more

You two seem to think this is about being able to afford a meal at a restaurant, which is not my angle. I'm asking why this is an accepted norm for restaurants but not for other service industries, so much so that restaurants depend on its customers to pay their workers directly.
You tip everyone from barbers to masseuses.
I'm not going to explain why its an expected norm, Google it if you'd like.
You being a cheap b*stard isn't going to change the norm.
Just tip.
