US prison labor is used in the supply chain of major retailers. Basically modern slavery.

Or, it just needs to be further regulated.

Require companies that use prison labor for cons serving x time to hire prisonee when they are released.

If a prison gets a contract for labor then there should be a cap and or they should be barred from contributing to campaigns

Make it illegal for politicians to make decisions that benefit companies that use prison labor and lobby politicians

More visibility to see what companies are donating to politicians

Limit how much money a corporation thats uses prison labor can make

Watchdog groups. People can make careers riding some corporations ass.

There's ways.

nikkas talking about further regulating slavery :mjlol:

Just ban exploitation of prison labor, how about that? They're prisoners, that doesn't mean their organs have to be harvested or that they can be pimped out to corporations for cents on the dollar

Even if you feel like criminals deserve it, think from another perspective. Why does some random white person get to profit off it?
Why wouldn't the money simply go to the city or state and supplement taxes? Why is a individual person profiting off this instead of society?

because its slavery.

Is that how you feel about people who have victimized your loved ones to the point they get put in a cage?

You must have lived a very carefree life so far.

A man gets 10 years for raping your family member

"Aww shucks they shouldn't be exploiting his labor" 🤡

"You shot my sister, can i put some money on your books?" 🤡

What planet are you living on
Bro that’s not at all what he was getting at. it can both be true that you don’t feel bad for the prisoners , but recognize that these corporations are benefitting off of free labor.

Looks like the incentive to not have this happen is to not be a criminal
Of course you're in here doing this. Your kind of thinking completely ignores the fact that human rights aren't conditioned on being "perfect." No one should have to endure inhumane treatment, forced labor, or abuse just because they're in prison. This idea of "don’t do the crime if you can't do the time" is just a way for people like you to avoid dealing with a broken system more than it is a genuine argument.

Further, many people are locked up for non-violent offenses, or because they're too poor to post bail. The prison industrial complex thrives on exploiting people like this, and it's not done to keep society safe but to make money off their suffering. Calling for decent treatment of prisoners isn't about being "soft on crime," it's about our duty to reject a system that profits from misery even for those incarcerated.

I don't know why so many of you are willing to accept a profit-driven prison system that violates basic human rights and fuels cycles of poverty and recidivism. What is better for the overall health of society: a system built on exploitation and cruelty, or one that serves justice by focusing on rehabilitation and reducing recidivism rather than monetizing punishment?

Nah community killers and psychopaths need structure

Yall going harder for them doing some work compared to the culture of exploitation and violence that they have among themselves that really keeps them from integrating into civil society.

Making furniture and operating machinery teaches a useful skill compared to beating rocks with a hammer.

Also you're leaving out the part that they're signing up to work. They could just sit and do prison shyt but insyead theyre working. You saying they need a raise after bodying their own community or murdering someone for some petty reasons.

College people :mjlol:

You have opinions on prison reform politics but can't tell the difference between martial arts and crime. I can't hold your hand brother.

I'm not gonna dig thru your post history but you advocate for violence a lot telling brehs to go be Brazilian and all that.

in turn they will end up "making license plates." as u put it for following thru with that.
